Meanwhile, at the Cullen's house

**Edward's POV**

I sat at my piano playing a melody that had been stuck in my mind for about a month now. Carlisle glanced up from his look with a smile. How long have you been working on this one? He asked me through his mind.

I shrugged as I came to a part that'll become a chorus, "Month. Maybe a month and a half."

Carlisle laughed out loud, You don't have to stay here with me kiddo. The rest of the family is playing baseball. Go play with them.

I shook my head, "I'm good." He laughed and went back to his work.

I started to add lyrics to the song, softly singing to not distract Carlisle. His hand moved quickly over the computer as he filled out the report and looked over his notes. My hands moved slower over the keys on the piano. I heard Alice's mind racing as the rest of the family ran into the house. All of their thoughts were incoherent.

I looked up from the piano and asked, "Alice what was the vision?"

She hid it from me and ran upstairs with Jasper. I looked at Esme and Adrian. Esme sighed, "She thinks she found someone who will be close to Carlisle." Carlisle looked up at the sound of his name.

"What? I wasn't paying attention," He said and Esme laughed.

"Go back to work Carlisle," She simply murmured as she walked out of the room. Carlisle looked at Adrain who laughed.

"You're on your own, brother," He said as he walked over to me. He sat on the bench next to me and asked, "Whatcha doing kiddo?"

"Getting this song out of my head. It's been distracting me and Rosalie was getting annoyed that I was always humming it," I said as I turned my attention back to my piano. I played it from the beginning and started to sing it. Adrian quickly caught on and started to play another combination of keys.

Esme smiled as she walked back into the room. She'll really be good for us. I snapped my head towards her. She just smiled at me and walked into her office.

"Esme!" I called, "Who are you thinking about!!!" She laughed and suddenly her mind was consumed with house designs. I sighed and glanced at her husband who wore a smug look on his face.

"Annoying ain't it?" He asked with a laugh and I nodded. He smiled softly and let me in on Alice's vision.

Carlisle was standing on tile of a mountain with a woman at sunset. The woman had long black hair and black wings. Horns were on the top of her head. She looked like she hated herself. "This is what I am Carlisle. I'm the villain in all the stories your father told,"

Carlisle shook his head as he brushed hair out of her face, "You're not the villain in this story Lucifer. No mater what you are I'll always love you,"

The woman shook her head with a soft smile and murmured, "I don't deserve someone like you Carlisle." Carlisle shushed her.

"Darling, you deserve Heaven, Hell, and everything else in between," The woman smiled. "And I love you in this form as well as your other forms. Please don't hide yourself from me anymore," The woman nodded as he brought her head up and kissed her.

I smiled at Alice's vision. Adrian smiled too and we both looked at Carlisle. "You're going to be very happy brother. I promise you," Adrian said and Carlisle looked up.

"Huh?" He asked and I laughed.

"He's just preparing you for what's coming," Esme said and I heard Emmet mutter 'That's what she said' followed by a smack from Rosalie. I laughed and shook my head.

For the rest of the night all of us watched movies and told stories from our human lives. Rosalie and Jasper always have the saddest ones.
