**Lucifer's POV**

I opened my eyes to the baby kicking. I hissed and Carlisle shot up. He put his hands on my stomach, "What's wrong?"

"The baby," I murmured, "They've been kicking so much harder recently."

Carlisle nodded and smiled, "Your due date is coming up soon."

I groaned, "Great. I get to push an entire child out of me." Carlisle laughed.

"It'll be worth it," He murmured.

I yawned, "Edward is starting his senior year. I feel old."

Carlisle laughed, "You shouldn't."

"But I do," I said and he laughed.

"Rhys is starting at the school too," He said.

"He's going to be the history teacher. It's better than a student," I said and he laughed. The baby kicked again and I groaned. Carlisle's eyebrows formed into a V.

"Baby I don't think that they're kicking, I think you might be having contractions," He murmured.

"Of course you'd know that," I said and he laughed.

"Let's get you to the hospital," He said as he helped me up.

**Carlisle's POV**

I stood in the waiting room, pacing back and forth. I wasn't allowed in the delivery room because I was the baby's father. I argued with a nurse that I was a doctor for a good thirty minutes.

The kids, Adrain, and Esme sat in chairs behind me. "Calm down," Adrain said as I checked my watch.

"Fuck off Adrain," I replied.

"Dr. Cullen?" A nurse asked and my head snapped towards her. "Your wife would like to introduce you to your son," She said and my eyes softened.

I went back with her and we walked into a room where Lucifer was sitting with a bundle of blue blankets. I walked over to her and sat down. "This is Kai Declan Cullen," Lucifer murmured to me and I smiled.

"Hi," I said to our son. Our son. I have a son.

"Do you want to hold him?" She asked and I nodded. She gave him to me and I cradled him in my arms. A nurse can in with a smile and gave Lucifer some water.

The rest of the family walked in ten minutes later and Esme held out her arms, "Let me hold my nephew." Lucifer laughed and I handed Kai off to her.

"This is Kai," I said and she smiled.

"Baby names are so different nowadays," Adrain muttered and I looked at him.

"Your name is literally Adrain," I pointed out.

"How is it my fault that I have such an amazing name that people started naming their kids it again?" He asked and Edward laughed. Katherine sat with Lucifer on the hospital bed. I walked over and kissed both of their heads.

Alice had Kai now, then Rosalie, then Edward, Emmett, Adrain, and Jasper. Jasper handed Lucifer Kai with a smile.

"I love you," I murmured.

"I love you too," Lucifer murmured back and Kai smiled at me. Alice snapped a photo of the moment.

"Awe, you were the reason for his first smile," Rosalie said as I put an arm around her shoulders.

"You and Alice are gonna be an awesome big sisters," I said and they smiled. I hugged them both.

"I can't wait to teach the little guy how to play football," Emmett said and Jasper nodded. Edward laughed and shook his head.

"I think he'll be better at baseball," Edward said and Adrain shook his head.

"No he'll be the best at basketball," Adrain said and I laughed.

"He'll be the best at whatever he wants to be," I said and Lucifer smiled.

"You just want him to be a doctor like his dad," She said with a laugh.

"Maybe I do," I said.

"He's gonna be a contractor like his uncle," Adrain said as he put an arm around my shoulders.

Lucifer motioned for us to be quiet. Kai was asleep. I took Kai into my arms and put him into the incubator. I kissed his head and turned to my wife.

I was happy. I've spent the last 361 years trying to make a family with my brother. And with Lucifer and Kai, our family was finally complete. Well almost. We're still waiting for Rhys to come into our family. But for now, we're complete.

Adrain, Alice, Edward, Emmett, Esme, Jasper, Kai, Lucifer, Rosalie, and eventually Rhys are the only people I need. And I love each and every one of them.

Lucifer and I had have our fair share of issues but it all led to this. And I'd do it a thousand times over. God has a plan for us. Our story was written even before I was born. I will forever thank him for his plan. Even if Lucifer didn't like her father, I still believe they can become father and daughter again. Maybe the bundle of joy sleeping inches away from me will be the thing that brings them together again. But for now, Lucifer is happy so I'm happy. She is my soulmate and I'll follow her to the ends of the earth. She is mine and I am her's. And I wouldn't have it another way.

"Lucifer," She looked up at the sound of her name, "I love you."

She smiled, "Forever and always Carlisle."
