Carlisle and I walked into the pizza place with our fingers intertwined with one another. We walked up to the counter and Carlisle order us, or rather me, a pizza.

He brought me to a booth, "What was your dream job as a kid?"

I laughed, "There weren't many jobs for women in my day."

"Oh right," he face palmed. I laughed and he grinned.

"But my father always told me my mother was a librarian so that's what I wanted to be before my wings made there way out of my back at fifteen."

"When were you born?" He asked me. He was listening so intently that I thought I was telling him about a war.

I shrugged, "I don't know my birthday but if I had to guess how old I am I'd probably say about 13.7 billion give or take."

He laughed, "And you say I'm the old one." I rolled my eyes as a server brought a pizza over. Once he walked away I waved a hand over it.

"Take a bite," I said and Carlisle looked at me blankly. I huffed and picked up a piece. I reached across the table and opened Carlisle's mouth. I put the piece of pizza in his mouth, made him bite down, and chew. He huffed and swallowed the bite.

"I hate it when you do shit like that," he murmured and I laughed. All of the staff walked out of the restaurant and locked the door behind them at my account. He looked at them with curiosity and I got up. I walked over to where he was sitting and straddled his waist.

He placed his hands on my hips and I laid my head on his shoulder. He rubbed my back and I sighed. "This is how my life should have been," I murmured and he shook his head.

"I think you've done pretty good for yourself," he murmured back and I smiled.

"I don't deserve you mia cara," I replied and he laughed. He pulled me back and looked me up and down.

"You deserve Heaven, Hell, and everything in between," He murmured and I smiled a little wider. "And no one is here..."

My hand tailed up his shirt and unbuttoned it. I watched his face change from calm to a spark of panic. My hands froze, "Is this alright?"

"Y-yeah," he stammered. Awe he's so fucking cute. I repressed a giggle. A fucking giggle. And continued unbuttoning his shirt. He rested a hand on the small of my back and rubbed circles on it with his thumb.

"I have a feeling that you might have to leave sometime in the next year or so," I said as I looked up at him through my eyelashes like I've done to countless other men.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because Bella and Edward are obviously falling in love. She's not his mate though. She's just a snack that he can't have," I said and he smiled. He pulled me close to him.

He brought his face close to my neck and murmured into my ear, "How do you know that it's not the same for you and me?"

"Because you were born for me Carlisle. That's what my father made you for and I will thank him every single day for that," I murmured back and he smiled against my skin. He press kisses to the exposed skin of my neck. "Fuck Carlisle," I hissed.

"That's the plan Darling," he murmured. I pulled off his shirt and he shifted me so I had no sight of the right side of his neck or shoulder.

"Stop," I said as his hands moved into my shirt. "Why are you hiding your right side?" I asked.

"It's nothing," he murmured.

"It sure as fuck is not nothing," I hissed. "Show me," He looked conflicted. "Please Carlisle. I'll show you something I hid if you show me whatever is on your neck and shoulder," He looked shocked.

He shifted so I could see his right side and I gasped. Two of the most gruesome scars I have ever seen were there. He didn't look me in the eye when I looked back at him.

"I'll kill whoever did this to you," I said as I grasped his face in my hands. "Those do not define you. You're so fucking handsome it hurts my eyes okay? I don't want you to ever feel self conscious about those near me," I told him and a ghost of a smile appeared.

I laughed and reached behind me for a piece of pizza. I took a bite of it and turned back to Carlisle. He had his eyes fixed on my chest.

"See something you like?" I asked as I put my hands on his knees and arched my back.

"A mouthy brat," Carlisle said. I raised an eyebrow with a small laugh.

"What happened to the pastor's perfect son my father made you?" I asked as I moved my hands back to his chest.

"He met the love of his existence," Carlisle said and kissed me. I rolled my hips as our tongues fought for dominance. He won the fight as he slipped a hand into my shirt. His cold ass hand made it's way up my stomach and into my bra.

I pulled away for air only to be pulled back. He fisted my hair and I let out a tiny moan. "Carlisle," he smiled at my breathless tone. "Carlisle if my nipples get any harder they could probably cut steel," He ripped my shirt in the back with a laugh and pulled away.

"We should take this home," He murmured as I got off of him.

"We might not make it home," I mumbled as he gathered our stuff. He smiled and led me out to the car.

"I hope you had fun with me tonight," as said as I buckled my seat belt.

"I really did," I wasn't lying. I can't remember when the last time I felt loved and appreciated by anyone. Sure I had my occasional relationship with a guy in Hell but that never lasted more than a month.

He gripped my thigh and brought me back to the present. I smiled and turned up the music that was playing. It was going to be a good time when we get home.
