As the night deepens, Yoongi finds himself lost in a labyrinth of thoughts, the mysterious encounter in the dimly lit bar still fresh in his mind. Despite his best efforts to unravel the enigma of the shadow, the pieces of the puzzle remain frustratingly out of reach.

Back at his apartment, he sits at his desk, the soft glow of his laptop casting shadows across his face as he sifts through the evidence, searching for any clue that might lead him closer to the truth. His mind races with the newfound revelation about the shadow's use of hyper-realistic silicone masks, a fact that sends a chill down his spine.

With this new information, Yoongi realizes just how elusive and cunning their adversary truly is. The thought of the shadow slipping through their fingers, disguised behind a mask of someone else's face, fills them with a sense of unease.

It's a sobering reminder of just how dangerous their enemy can be, and how crucial it is to stay one step ahead. But despite his best efforts, Yoongi finds himself hitting dead end after dead end, the clues leading him in circles as he struggles to make sense of the chaos that surrounds him.

The frustration mounts with each passing moment, his thoughts consumed by the shadow's taunting presence. Just as he begins to lose hope, a faint whisper catches his attention—a voice, barely audible, yet unmistakably real.

Yoongi freezes, his senses on high alert as he strains to catch the elusive sound, his heart pounding in his chest. Slowly, cautiously, he rises from his seat, his movements deliberate as he inches closer to the source of the sound.

With each step, the whisper grows louder, more insistent, until it fills the room like a tangible presence, sending shivers down Yoongi's spine. And then, just as suddenly as it began, the whisper faded away, leaving Yoongi standing alone in the darkness, his heart racing with adrenaline.

For a moment, he hesitates, uncertain of what he should do next. But then, with a determined shake of his head, he reaches for his coat to head out into the night.

As he reaches the door, his hand poised to push it open, a sudden movement catches his eye—a figure emerging from the shadows, silent and unexpected. Yoongi freezes, his heart skipping a beat as he recognizes the familiar silhouette standing before him.

"Wifey," he breathes out, his voice barely above a whisper as he stares at Jiyeon, his mind racing to comprehend the sight before him. "How long have you been standing at my door?"

"About five minutes?" Jiyeon finally replies, her voice cool and composed.

"What with that face? You good?" He snakes his arm around Jiyeon's waist and leads her to their bedroom, tossing his coat on the couch on their way.

"Hubby." Jiyeon deadpans at him and even stops walking—glaring at him.

"My bad. I'll fix it right away," With that, he rushes to pick his coat up and hang it properly back in his workroom. "There, I've fixed it." He gives Jiyeon a grin—a look that asks for a compliment.

"That's more like it." Jiyeon flashes her loving smile, making Yoongi smirk at that.

"Now, shall we? I can see from your face that something is bothering you," His arm finds its way to Jiyeon's waist again as they walk into their bedroom.

Jiyeon sighs softly, her expression softening as she meets Yoongi's gaze. "You know me too well," she murmurs, her voice tinged with a mixture of affection and concern. "I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

Yoongi chuckles, pulling her closer as they settle onto the edge of their bed. "Not a chance," he replies, his tone light yet reassuring. "Now, spill. What's been on your mind?"
