Sunday mornings in our house are sacred.

Not in the religious sense, but in the family sense. It's the one day of the week when no one has school, work, or plans that require us to rush out the door. It's the one day where breakfast isn't just something quick—it's a full meal, prepared together, eaten together.

It's our tradition.

Which is why I'm not surprised when I wake up to the scent of warm rice, doenjang jjigae, and freshly made jeon wafting from the kitchen.

The space beside me in bed is empty, still warm from Jungkook's body.

With a sleepy sigh, I push myself up and stretch before making my way out of the bedroom. The moment I step into the hallway, I hear the familiar sound of bickering.

"You're cutting them too thick, hyung," Saejin's exasperated voice carries from the kitchen.

"It's fine. Papa likes them this way," Woojin counters.

"No, he doesn't. You just suck at cutting things evenly."

"They're fine, you little nerd."

"You guys are so annoying," Hana groans, her voice laced with sleep.

I shake my head with a small chuckle as I step into the kitchen, already knowing what I'll find.

Woojin and Saejin are by the stove, standing close as they argue over the size of the green onions Woojin is chopping for the pajeon. Hana is sitting on the counter, legs swinging, poking at the rolled omelet Jungkook is carefully flipping in the pan.

And Jungkook, my dear husband, is standing there with an amused expression, clearly unbothered by the noise.

At the sound of my footsteps, his eyes flick to me, and his lips curve into a soft smile.

"Good morning, baby," he murmurs.

I hum in response, stepping into his space as he instinctively pulls me in, pressing a warm kiss to my forehead.

"You slept well?" he asks.

"Would've been better if these kids weren't yelling first thing in the morning," I mumble against his shoulder.

"Papa!" Hana whines. "Tell them to shut up. I'm trying to wake up in peace."

"You could've stayed in bed longer," I tell her, smoothing a hand over her hair.

She pouts. "But Daddy makes the best gyeranmari."

Jungkook chuckles, nudging her nose with his knuckle. "Of course I do, Princess. You want the first bite?"

She grins and nods eagerly.

I glance at the twins. Woojin is still glaring at Saejin, while Saejin looks smug as he inspects the green onions.

"Did you guys even let Daddy do anything, or have you taken over the kitchen again?" I ask, raising a brow.

Woojin grins. "We're helping."

Saejin sighs. "More like hindering."

I shake my head. "Woojin-ah, move. Let me handle that before you cut your fingers."

Woojin huffs but obeys, stepping back as I take over. Jungkook moves beside me, sliding a hand over my waist.

"You're extra clingy this morning," I note, amused.
