JUNGKOOK

The night air is cool against my skin as I continue to scour the empty streets, each step heavy with worry and frustration. Three days have passed since Jimin went missing, and with each passing moment, the knot of fear in my chest tightens.

Beside me, Yoongi hyung's usually composed demeanour is cracked with concern, his brow furrowed in deep thought. "We need to find him, kook. We can't afford to waste any time."

I nod in agreement, my jaw clenched with determination. "I know, hyung. But where do we even start? There's no sign of him anywhere, and it feels like we're running out of options."

Yoongi scans the deserted streets, his eyes searching for any clue that might lead us to Jimin's whereabouts. "We need to think. Jimin wouldn't just vanish without a trace. There has to be something we're overlooking."

Frustration simmers beneath my skin as I pace back and forth, my mind racing with a thousand unanswered questions. "I should never have let him go alone. I should have been there for him."

Yoongi's hand finds my shoulder, offering a comforting squeeze. "You couldn't have known this would happen, kook. We'll find him. I promise."

But even as Yoongi speaks the words, doubt gnaws at my mind like a relentless tide. There's something off about this whole situation, something lurking beneath the surface that doesn't add up.

My thoughts drift back to Hobi's frantic plea for help, the urgency in his voice ringing in my ears. But now, with Jimin still missing and Hobi's story unraveling, I can't shake the feeling that we've been played.

"We need to talk to Hobi again," I say, my voice tight with determination. "There's something he's not telling us."

Yoongi nods in agreement, his expression grim. "I'll call him and see if he knows anything. But we need to be careful, Jungkook. We can't let him know that we suspect him."

My fists tighten at my sides, my resolve hardening with each passing moment. "I won't let him get away with this, hyung. Not if he's hurt Jimin."

As Yoongi dials Hobi's number, I steel myself for whatever twisted truth lies waiting to be uncovered. We may be in the dark now, but I refuse to let anyone harm the man I love without consequence.

As Yoongi speaks to Hobi on the phone, I can feel the tension mounting with each passing moment. My heart pounds in my chest as I wait for Yoongi to hang up and deliver whatever news Hobi has to offer.

Finally, Yoongi lowers the phone from his ear, his expression unreadable. "Hobi says he hasn't heard from Jimin since that night. He's just as worried as we are."

I narrow my eyes, a flicker of doubt worming its way into my mind. "And you believe him?"

Yoongi's gaze is steady, his voice firm. "We don't have any proof that he's lying, Jungkook. We can't jump to conclusions."

But I can't shake the feeling that there's more to this than meets the eye. Hobi's calm demeanour, his calculated lies—it all feels too perfect, too orchestrated to be true. And now, with Jimin still missing and no leads to follow, I refuse to sit back and let Hobi manipulate us any longer.

"We need to search his apartment," I say, my voice laced with determination. "There might be something there that can help us find Jimin."

Yoongi hesitates, his brow furrowing with uncertainty. "We can't just barge in without cause, Jungkook. We need to be careful."
