The arms withdrew, leaving the fingers attempting to clutch the cheese the General had stacked before him
"Speed is a sign of the superior race, pure. Lack of speed leads to lack of fingers"

The blood red tracks raced back along the cloth, fingerless men peered over the edge, waiting to pounce, waiting to grasp a piece of the feast laid before him.
Waiting with hunger in their eyes. Still the general kept eating.
The butter knife lay next to the cheese
The meat knife next to his plate
The meat clever in his hand
Poised as he ate
CHOP CHOP
The man reeled back holding his injured hand
"GREED IS THE CAUSE FOR THE DOWNFALL OF THE NATION"
The man's reply?
"Greed leads to fat generals"

The head joined the fingers for a final time
