I made you miserable for my own selfish reasons
It was not the intent but I know the consequence
Surely selfishness alone is a sin,
But the cold secrets behind it a capital crime?
You did not deserve it but that did not defer my decision
I did it anyway
And now I'm getting my rightful rewards
I am a disgrace. My sad sullen face knows its place
Is destined to be in misery
The question is
Do I sit and suffer?
Or try to redress the balance?
But first I need a favour
I need your forgiveness
