"Ring, ring, the number you are calling is currently switched off-"
"It is not connecting. Maady did yours reach her? Brandon?" I asked.
"No, it's showing switched off to me too," Maddy said.
" switched off here too," Brandon said.
Welsy has gone missing, she has not picked up my call or Maddy's or Brandon's.
I called her, three days ago, because I missed her. She had not come to class which is Professor Thomson's lectures which he told us she had never missed, even during her first year.
"Maddy? Present!
Glen? present!
Welsy? Welsy? Oh it seems she isn't here"
After that, he continued with his class. After the class got he asked me and Maddy to wait aside and dispersed the class. He asked us if we had any idea as to why welsy had been absent as I heard that three years in this school and she had never once missed Professor Thomsons' classes.
"Do you guys know why welsy could not make it to class? She has never done this in the last two years. It makes me feel very concerned. Please ask and let me know" the professor asked of me and Maddy.
"No sir but we have her number so I'll ask her," I said and looked at Maddy.
This was Wednesday, we went to my place on Friday. I tried to call her on Sunday but it showed switched off so I gave up. I had practised an entire conversation for almost 2 days. Asked Brandon Josh and other members of the team,
"What can I say to a girl on call? She is very aloof but very to the point if you ask her a question" I had asked. They all seemed to think I was dumb.
Anyway, I made the reason why I had called her.
'Hii yeah so I called to tell you no need to return the hoodie, I will be captain again so I'll get a new one this year.' or 'Hey I thought the hoodie looked real nice on you so no need to return it, just saying.' OR 'Hey is your shoulder ok? Did you apply the ointment regularly?'
But her phone was switched off 'Sigh'
But now we hear she didn't come to class on Monday or Tuesday, maddy even added she had not seen welsy in the workshop at all. Even her graduation piece was missing.
I was worried, I was very worried.
