I know guys.....Adiraj's condition is, well what can I say..But don't worry...my favourite plot twist is arriving, not in this chapter but in the coming ones..

Adiraj's POV,
The vertically stretched palaces, towards the sky, with colourful stones having the engraves of dancing women and all the 36,000 gods and goddesses, was much different than our architecture. My heart ws constricting itself seeing her smile all the more, the more we were closer. I would have loved to see her smile, beaming with happiness if it wasn't for him. We were all waiting in the waiting room, me protecting her and Abhimanyu giving me a guard. All I could see was her, getting restless, biting her nails, playing with the loose end of her saree, taking deep breaths in and exhaling with a follow of slight giggles. I smiled at her antics, A sad smile, reciprocating all my love towards her. The agony was burning me from within, and nobody but her could calm the fire down with her comforting touch, her embrace, being in her arms forever. But I had lost hope, I looked away sighing at the displeasure of seeing him walking towards us.
"Kunwarsa....such pleasure to see you.."
I wish I could say the same.
"Same..here...Raja Nallasivan.."
I said, monotone, trying not to bring the pain of bereavement in my voice. As she saw him she ran into his arms, burying his face in his chest as I heard her sob. There was a look of surprise and confusion on his face before he forcefully hugged her back. A man could understand a man. I could clearly see he didn't expect her to be with me. At the end of the day, I didn't mention her arrival in the letter. He faked a small laugh before she said,
"I missed you, I love you so much Kanavan..."
My nails dug into my palm as I shut my eyes, trying to calm my laboured breaths. I was stopping myself from pushing my prized dagger into his damn heart and taking her away from here. I just turned away and followed a servant trying to show the way.
As I entered the room I couldn't help but unleash my anger.
"Get lost motherfuckers....right NOW.."
They knew better than disobeying my orders. As they departed, I punched the wall super hard as the pain I felt numbed the pain in my heart. I sat down, my back against the wall, my head resting against it, as I said, not sparing my tears, as they fell freely,
"It hurts, Saundarya..It hurts a lot..."
Sitting by the edge of the pool, I was looking at my wounded knuckles,as I winced in pain when it touched the water. I deserved it, I deserve this pain. My conscience and my heart both were rebuking me for falling for love. I didn't deserve any of her. My love for her is just going to cause her pain, as I will hold her, restrain her from being where she wants to be. At that time I will really become the captivator and her the captive.
Dressing myself, I heard a soft knock on the door. I didn't want anybody's presence in the room at that moment. But I did open the door.
I saw her, standing in front of me with a plate of food. A large smile on her face face she said,
"I cooked it...."
I didn't want to eat anything at that moment, neither look at her or even think about her. I couldn't stop myself from saying as her words directed towards her 'Dear Kanavan' came rushing back to me.
"I didn't ask for food, especially not touching what you made, I would rather go to sleep hungry than eating what you made..and did I ask for your presence?...Why the hell are you here? Aren't you happy now, go back to your husband and feed him the food you made.."
I slammed the door on her face. I could see she was almost going to cry listening to my emotionless, harsh words. But I didn't think any of it. She had tested me enough, go hell with her love.
All she can do is cry..
As I covered myself with the duvet, her almost crying face came in front of me, calling me out for my harsh action. Why doesn't she just go from my damn mind. I was feeling guilty and I couldn't stay here anymore, bearing to see the two of them together.
She was right, a wanderer has to end up where destiny wants him to. Such irony.
I got up from the bed, taking my dagger in my hand, tucking it in my waistband, and walked out. Asking directions and ending up in front of the guest room she was staying in. I knocked on her door twice. She opened it, and I came in view of her swollen puffy eyes, as she went to slam the door I held it, slipping inside the room. I heard a clink as my dagger fell to floor with the force. I exhaled before saying,
"I am going back..."
"Now ... .at the dead of the night?.."
"Why can't you just say, 'go'..why do you have to care about Saundarya...Why can't you be indifferent to me, just once.."
"You are my friend Kunwarsa.."
""I don't want to be....Friends..."
I want to be something more, more than friends but how do I tell her?
"Saundarya....I will miss you.."
And I love you.
That was all I could say before pulling her into a tight hug. Inhaling the deep smell of her, I gave a slight kiss under her jaw, making her shiver. I let her go before things escalated. I jumped out of the window , as I galloped away on my horse, Abhimanyu following behind me. I had written a letter saying that I had important work hence had to leave at such an inconvenient time. My hair flowed against the wind, as the warm tears fell, drying instantly at the impact of the wind. Ahimanyu was far behind me, as he had lost me but I knew we could reach at almost the same time.
Forget her.
I consoled myself as my horse came to halt suddenly, making me fall off it. I was deep in the forest, and had followed a random way, my back was hurting with the fall, and all I could do was just close my eyes at the serenity of the forest.
