Chapter 13

The next few days I try being as rude and horrible to Nathan as possible but of course that didn't work out.

I don't know what to do anymore! If he finds out it'll be the end! I can't let myself like the guy anymore than I already do- hell I can't let myself love the guy. Although I know I'm no where near from that so for now I was good.

And speaking of Nathan, Lily and I are driving up to meet up with him right this second. He wanted us to meet him at the diner since he couldn't pick us up since he had some 'issues' to deal with.

I drove this time although Lily hated it. I don't get what was so bad about me driving. "Fucking get out of the road if you don't know how to drive you mundane fool!" I honk.

"Please God I promise to stop thinking dirty thoughts of Ryan Gosling if you let me live!" I roll my eyes.

"Ryan Gosling, huh?"

"What? Have you seen him? He's a God!"

"I thought you loved David Beckham?"

"He's still my Bae."

"And Channing Tatum?"

She rolls her eyes. "Is that even a question?" I hold my hands up in surrender.

"What the hell are you doing? Keep your hands on the road!" I roll my eyes but do as she says.

"You are the worst driver ever."

"Oh shut up I'm not that bad of a driver!" She laughs voluminously but it turns into a shriek when I make a turn.

"I just want to live!" She yells. I roll my eyes, this girl I swear.

"Looks like God listened to your prayers." I park in front of the building. "We're here." She immediately takes off her seatbelt and gets out the car in a flash and hugs some random stranger. Yeah that's right. She is literally hugging a stranger right now.

I shake my head as I turn off the car and unbuckle my seatbelt and leave my car after checking that there was no one coming. Coming around to the other side I close the passenger door Lily had left open and lock the doors to my car.

"Lily let the poor man go." She releases him and takes a step back. The guy quickly runs his eyes all over her body.

"Ew what are you fifty? Get the hell out of here before I gut you alive." I say as I make my way to Lily. The guy immediately takes off as if his life depended on it. Which it did.

"Come on you bumbling coward. Nathan's inside already."

"You know I've never been here before. Even though I passed by this place like dozens of times."

"Yeah well it must be why Nathan loves this place so much." I open the door and let Lily go in first before I enter.

The waitress that has a major crush on Nathan was here yet again. I know deep down she doesn't like me but then again who does? But obviously she has to pretend she does. She's too scared to act that she doesn't.

I merely walk past her and head straight to our spot but stop half way. I was expecting to see Nathan but instead I see-

"Annabeth!"

"Babe!"

"She's not you're babe!" I roll my eyes.

"Who are they?" Lily whispers behind me.

"Come on." I avoid the stares as I make my way to the table. Nathan gets up and hands me my rose before giving me a peck on the lips and giving Lily a hug in greeting before sitting in the corner of the booth with Christian and Rebecca.
