Peter Parker was once Spider-Man, but that all changed when Otto Octavius hijacked his old body, and when Peter tried to get it back, he failed, and Octavius became a villain, a menace, a so-called 'Superior Spider-Man'
But when Octavius gave Peter...
Peter looked at the body of Father Gascoigne, and fell to his knees, as he felt tears coming down his face... He... He didn't know what to do. This Hunter... The father of two little girls he found... Peter gripped his head and screamed.
His voice was filled with despair, with anger, with sadness. He didn't want to kill Gascoigne, he never intended for it. He stared down at the corpse and then looked towards his wife's corpse, and walked towards it, as he saw the familiar red brooch that Estelle had told him about. Peter turned his head to the side and tried not to cry.
"Damnit... god... damnit... DAMNIT!" Peter screamed into the air, as he gripped his head in rage, as tears of despair fell down his face.
Peter couldn't take the brooch, he wouldn't. He walked away deeper into the Tomb Of Oedon and towards a gated door and opened it, as he walked through the streets into a small little home that had been abandoned allowing water to start to flood it. Peter walked through the water and found a ladder leading up.
"What should I do?" Peter asked himself, "What do I tell them? Estelle... Charlotte... God, what am I going to do?"
Peter wondered what he would do, what he would say, how would they take it... That is what is scaring Peter, and what has him on all edges.
Peter climbed up the ladder and found himself in some kind of dining room, and noticed a chest nearby, he went to open it and found a weird tool... Peter gripped it and decided to take it with him until he noticed a note nearby, that Peter began reading out loud.
"'The Byrgenwerth Spider hides all manner of rituals and keeps our lost master from us. A terrible shame. It makes my head shudder uncontrollably'... Byrgenwerth Spider?" Peter read and asked himself, "What is a Byrgenwerth Spider?"
Peter shook his head and continued moving as he went up a spiral of stairs and came to a single door that he pushed open. Instantly light shined down on him as he looked around noticing a fog-like essence around him, masking his smell, as he looked around and saw the setting sun, and sighed to himself.
"Well... This place-" Peter began
"Ah, a Hunter!"
Peter immediately brought the pistol towards the voice and saw... someone wearing a red cloak, kneeling on the ground looking up at him.
"Wait... I'm sorry... hehe... didn't mean to scare ya" The person said chuckling at the end,
"Who are you?" Peter asked,
"I... I don't really remember... been a while, and the blood plague really stresses me out, but you can call me an Oedon Chapel Dweller" The person said, "Or just Dweller whichever one you prefer"
