Emma looked out to Krakoa, with her skin covered in diamonds, as she enjoyed the view, but her thoughts of her friend Sophia would not leave her head. Emma should have stayed with her, the world was much different now, than it was 15 years ago, and Sophia had woken up to a world that didn't want for her (Totally not referencing Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Ending), still thinking like a teenager, the dumb ones that they paraded around as.

"I've never seen you this nervous"

Emma turned around to see Kitty 'Kate' Pryde entering the room with her alien pet dragon: Lockheed. Emma took a seat on the couch and petted her dragon and turned towards Emma.

"Haven't seen you that worried in a long time" Kate said looking at Emma with a worried look.

"... I..." Emma began struggling to speak, "I brought someone back... an old friend that I haven't seen in a long time... and I'm worried that she may-"

The doors to the room busted open and in walked Sophia who looked furious.

"Why am I hearing that before Peter died, his body was taken over by one of his enemies!?" Sophia yelled as she approached Emma,

"Chat... W-Who told you that?" Emma asked trying to keep her composure as she turned to Sophia.

"Why does that matter?!" Sophia yelled, "You told me Peter died, and now I find out that this so-called 'Superior Octopus' took over his mind for SIX months. Not one, not two, but SIX MONTHS! You're a telepath, Emma! You know Peter from when we were in High School, and I find it very hard to believe that you didn't spend time with Peter after that point! And you meant to tell me you didn't notice anything wrong!?"

"...I only noticed, when it became far too late. Believe me, Chat, if I could go back in time, I would have stopped Octavius from ever having Peter's body" Emma said stepping away from her friend to get herself a drink, she was going to need it to wash away the hellish conversation she was about to have until she noticed her friend Kate being very uncomfortable, "Kate... please, leave me and Chat alone"

"I'll... I'll stay" Kate said as Lochkeed snarled at Sophia, who turned to the pet.

"Really? I should be afraid of you..." Chat asked, as Lockheed backed up surprised, "Yes... I can understand animals, that includes you"

"Chat..." Emma began as she took a quick drink from her favorite alcohol, "You've been alive for... about 2 hours now. I didn't know Octavius had taken hold of his mind until, he, confirmed it in front of the entire world. I-"

"I call bullshit Emma!" Chat yelled stopping Emma, "You, singlehandedly, were able to wipe the memories of Peter from my mind and memories of me from Peter's mind, and you didn't think to check Peter's mind when he was acting weird"

"Peter earned my trust. I was-" Emma began, only for Chat to stop her.

"Peter earned your trust when you read his mind, and saw his past!" Chat countered, "I helped Peter fight against Octavius, and I know for a fact, that I can tell the difference between the most heroic man and the most egotistical asshole, and you can't tell the difference really speaks volumes about your character!"

Emma turned around to her friend with a scowl on her face.
