~*~*~*~
After the events of last night we all thought it would be best to spend the day outside. I sat with Lucy as I watched Edmund and Susan go against Peter. But it was really only Peter who was excited to play.
"Hey Lucy" I whisper to her
"Yeah?" She asks, sense after what happened last night she hasn't talked much. Well I take that back, she's talked to me, but not any of her siblings.
"It might not mean much but I believe you" I tell her
"You do?" She asks me
"Yeah I sincerely do. I mean, what's left of the world if there isn't any magic. I truly believe you experienced it, and I truly believe with the right amount of magic, it's possible" I smile at her
"Thank you Cora, it means a lot to me sense no one else believes me" she sighs
"Yeah well, they will just have to see it to believe it. Some don't have magic left in their life" I laugh as I tickle her some
"Why do you? I mean, why do you have magic left in your life?" She asks me
"Well Lucy, when you live the way I had to live, magic is one of the very few things you're left living for. My hope was that some type of magic would come along and change my life. Maybe now it's possible" I smile at her but she looks at me a little confused
"You'll understand when you're older" I laugh before our attention was turned back to their game"Peter winds up, poised to take yet another wicket!" Peter yells as he throws the ball at Ed
"Ow!" Edmund exclaims as the ball hit his leg
"Whoops, wake up dolly daydream" Peter tells him
"Why can't we play hide and seek again?" Edmund asks as Susan throws Peter the ball
"Would you look at that, Edmund mow wants to play 'a kids game'" Peter rolls his eyes
"Besides, we could all use the fresh air." Susan tells him
"It's not like there's no air inside" Ed mumbles
"Are you ready?" Peter asks him
"Are you?" Ed asks back
Peter throws the ball and Edmund quickly reacts hitting it. But it only ends up making the ball crash into a window. We all stood around for a second before sprinting up to the room.We all stared in shock as we saw the ball on the ground, with broken glass all around it, and a fallen knights amor.
"Well done Ed" Peter scoffs
"You bowled it!" Ed shoots back
"What on earth is going on?" We hear Mrs. Macready
"Mrs. Macready!" Susan says with fear
"Come on!" Peter says rushing us all out of the roomWe rushed out trying to find an open door to hide in.
"In here!" Lucy says opening a door which lead to the wardrobe
"Come on!" Edmund says opening the doors of the wardrobe
"You've got to be joking me" Susan says
But just then we heard footsteps coming closer to us. We quickly all jumped in, Peter peaked through the door before closing it shut when someone walked in."Get back!"
"My toe!"
"I'm not on your toe!"
"Move back!"
"Can you stop shoving me!"
"Hey stop that!" All of us exclaimed as we kept moving further and further backBut it all went quiet when we fell backyards, looking down at the ground seeing.....snow.
I quickly got up and looked around, it really was real.
"Impossible" Susan mumbles
We all looked around a little more before turning to Lucy
"I don't suppose saying we're sorry would quite cover it" Peter says as I walk over and whisper something in Lucy's ear
"No it wouldn't. But this might!" She says throwing a snow ball at him, listening to my idea.
Then a whole snow ball fight broke out, as we fought I saw Edmund wasn't joining so I decided to throw one at him, hoping he would join in, but I was wrong.
"Ow! Stop that!" He whines
"You little liar" Peter grumbles at him
"You didn't believe her either" Edmund says
"Apologies to Lucy" he tells him but Edmund just stays quiet
"Say you're sorry!" Peter tells him in a louder tone of voice
"Peter don't" I tell him trying to keep them from fighting
"Alright I'm sorry!" Edmund says
"That's all right. Some little children just don't know when to stop pretending" Lucy tells him
"Oh very funny" Edmund rolls his eyes
"It was very funny, good one Lu" I smile as I give her a high five"Maybe we should go back" Susan suggests
"But shouldn't we at least take a look around" Edmund says
"Why don't we let Lucy decide?" I suggest
"I'd like you all to meet Mr. Thomas!" Lucy says
"Well then, Mr. Thomas it is" Peter smiles
"But we can't go hiking in the snow dressed like this" Susan says
"No." Peter says walking back to the wardrobe
"But I'm sure the professor wouldn't mind us using these" he says handing us a big coat
"Anyway if you're thinking logically we're not even taking them out of the wardrobe" Peter laughs
"But that's a girls coat!" Edmund says looking at the coat Peter was giving him
"I know" is all Peter replies with
