Remembering, was hardly the hard part. Waiting to go back, now that was even harder than I had imagined. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and those months turned into a whole year. A whole year of waiting.

Thankfully Mrs. Pevensie allowed me to stay in the spar room they had. I was forever grateful for that, but sadly I could never call it my home. I didn't want her to pay for me to go to school, so I told her I was paying myself. Somehow I managed to get her to believe me, so during the day I adventure out. Walking the same streets. Every. Single. Day.

But at the same time everyday I would meet them all to walk back home. And now was that exact time.

I walked with Lucy across the street as a car honks at us.
"Mind yourselves lady's" the man says out of the window
"Sorry!" Lucy and I both apologize

Then we finally spot Susan who was keeping her head oddly far down.
"Susan!" Lucy yells and I could see the boys face next to her drop
"You better come quickly" I tell her and she runs off with us

We all three ran across the street into the underground train station. Only to see a big crowd around boys who were fighting. And who was fighting? It was Peter. Then I saw Edmund jump in to join the fight as Peter was getting held to the ground
"Edmund don't!" I yell but it was no use, he had already jumped onto the boy.

And just then we all hear a loud whistle, we turn to see two officers walking our way, separating the boys. All three of us were pushed away as we heard the officers yelling at Peter and Edmund.

We all sat on a bench waiting for our train to come. As Edmund sat down he was the first to speak up
"You're welcome" he tells Peter
"I had it sorted" Peter tells him
"What was it this time?" Susan asks in an annoyed voice
"He bumped me" Peter says
"So you hit him?" Lucy asks
"No, after he bumped me, they tried to make me apologize. That's when I hit him" Peter explains
"Why didn't you just walk away Peter? Be the bigger person" I tell him irritated with his actions
"I shouldn't have to. I mean, don't you ever get tired of being treated like a kid?" He asks us
"Um we are kids" Edmund answers
"I wasn't always. It's been a year. How long does he expect us to wait?" Peter asks again
"I think it's time to accept that we live here. It's no use pretending any different" Susan tells him and my stomach twists into knots

The noise of a train coming turns are attention. Susan looks to her left before turning back to us.
"Oh no. Pretend you're talking to me" she tells us quickly
"We are talking to you" Edmund states the obvious
"Ow!" Lucy yells jumping from her seat
"Quiet Lu!" Susan tells her
"Something pinched me!" Lucy tells us
Peter then stood from his seat
"Stop pulling!" He tells Edmund with an annoyed face
"I'm not touching you" Edmund argues back
"Ow!" Susan and I both say at the same time jumping up from our seats
Then Edmund jumps up feeling something pinch him.

The train started to pass us drawing my attention to it.
"What is that?" Susan asks
"It feels like magic" I answer her smiling
"Quick everyone hold hands" Susan says as we grab each others hands
"I'm not holding your hand!" Edmund tells Peter
"Shut up and do it!" Peter yells back before grabbing his hand

The train kept passing as we could see the walls almost start to peel off, and showed a beach and rocks. Then the train disappears into a black tunnel, which then turns into a view of a beach.
We all stepped forward looking at it, then we looked at each other.

I shared a look with Susan and Lucy before we all took off running, the boys following behind.
"Shame you're not as quick as me Ed!" Peter yells
"Last one in's a rotten egg!" Edmund laughs
I quickly take off my jacket as we all jump into the ocean.

We all started to splash and throw water at each other, laughing and enjoying our time. I turn to splash water at Edmund who was looking off into the distance.
"Ed! Ed?" I ask him
He finally turns his gaze back to us
"What is it?" Peter asks
"Where do you suppose we are?" Edmund asks us
"Where do you think?" Susan tells him
"Well, I don't remember any ruins in Narnia" he says looking back up at the mountains
"Neither do I" I mumble as we all follow his gaze
