After a great night rest last night, I had gotten up that morning with a smile on my face. Once I walked out of my tent I see Susan and Lucy walking out of theirs. We all look over at Peter who was just staring into the distance. I followed his gaze to see Edmund standing there with Aslan in a deep conversation.
"Edmund!" Lucy yells
Edmund looked at Lucy then back at Aslan who just nodded his head.
Edmund put his hands in his pocket looking down in guilt as he walked down the hill towards us.

A gasp almost escapes my mouth when I see the bruises and cut on his lip.
"What's done is done. There is no need to speak to Edmund about what is past" Aslan says
"Hello" Edmund says not daring to look up
Lucy just laughs and embraces him in a big hug, which he returned with a smile. Susan joining soon after Lucy. Then when they broke apart I give him a hug as if it was the last one I would ever give him.
"I told you, you would be grateful for them someday" I laugh
"Yeah" he laughs as we pull apart
"Are you alright?" Susan asks him
"I'm a little tired" he answers
"Get some sleep" Peter speaks up and I could see Edmunds smile drop some. He nods before walking away
"And Edmund. Try not to wonder off" Peter tells him and Edmund's smile returns back to his face before turning back away

We all sat at a table as Edmund stuffed his face with food. It broke my heart knowing that he obviously didn't eat when he was with the witch.
"Narnia's not going to run out of toast Ed" Lucy laughs
Edmund just gives her a smile before eating again, but slower this time.
"I'm sure they'll pack something up for the journey back" Peter speaks up
"What do you mean? We're going back home?" Susan asks him
"You are. I promised mum I'd keep you safe. But that doesn't mean I can't stay behind and help" Peter says
"But they need us. All five of us" Lucy argues
"Lucy it's too dangerous. You almost drowned! Edmund was almost killed!" Peter says
"Which is why we have to stay. I've seen what the white witch can do. And I've helped her do it. And we can't leave these people behind to suffer for it" Edmund tells him
"I agree with Edmund, Peter. We were chosen to do this, why would we leave? They need our help" I tell him
When Peter doesn't say anything Susan stands up.
"I suppose that's it then" she says
"Where are you going?" Peter asks
She grabs her bow and arrow
"To get some practice" she smiles before walking off

I watched Susan and Lucy practice some before watching Peter and Edmund sword fight.
I looked at my sword and put it down on the ground. Then I walked over to one of the centaurs, who I learned was named Oreius.
"Hello" I say walking up very awkwardly to say the least
"Your majesty do what do I owe the honor?" He asks bowing
"Teach me how to fight" I tell him, ok maybe I should've thought this conversation through some more.
"Teach you how to fight your majesty?" He asks almost as if he wasn't sure he heard me right
"Yes, with my sword of course. If we are going into battle I must know. I can't have someone by my side protecting me the entire time now can I?" I smile
"Correct you are my Queen. Come with me" he smiles as he leads me into an open field.

"Which sword would you like?" He asks as we walk up to some wood with swords laying against it
"I have my own" I tell him
"Where is it my Queen?" He asks very confused as I wasn't holding it
"That is something I have to practice" I laugh before taking a few steps away from him

I take a deep breath
"Éla" I say holding my hand out
I look to my right to see my sword flying at me while glowing a white color.
"Ah!" I scream as it flys right at me, I duck as it flys over me, crashing into the other swords.
I slowly stand back up looking at the mess I made. Then I look at Oreius
"Oops?" I shrug with a awkward smile
"Well I think that is the first thing we must learn today" he laughs

After hours of training I had not only summoning my sword down, but also fighting. Oreius taught me all he knew. To movement, to how to strike, when to strike, how to know your opponents next move, all of the above.
"You're a natural my Queen. I don't think anyone I've taught has learned this fast" he tells me as we had finished my training

'We all have a choice in the end, you have a powerful gift that you do not know of yet. It's your choice whether to seek it out, or to let it fall away' Aslan's words rings through my head

"Thank you Oreius, I've enjoyed learning" I smile at him, putting my sword back into my side
"Cora!" I hear Mr. Beaver yell
I turn to look at him
"The witch has demanded a meeting with Aslan. She's on her way here" he tells me
My heart drops as I take off running
