Rowing in the small boat, through beautiful white flowers. "So what was it like, when Aslan changed you back?" Edmund asks "No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't do it myself. Then he came towards me. It sort of hurt, but it was a good pain. You know, like when you pull a thorn from your foot. Being a dragon wasn't all bad. I mean, I think I was better a dragon than I was a boy really. I am so sorry for being such a sop." He tells us "It's okay Eustace. You were a pretty good dragon." Edmund laughs "Everyone learns something in Narnia, but it doesn't change who we are. You've always been like this, but you just covered it up. Aslan showed you how to uncover it, that's all" I tell him and he gives me a grateful smile "Thank you. Both of you" he smiles towards Edmund and I
"My friends, we have arrived" reep says as we turn to look at the beautiful wave. We pulled up onto the sand. Jumping out of the boat walking towards it. And as we walked I could feel him beside us. I turn to look and there he was "Aslan" Eustace and I say at the same time "Welcome children, you have done well. Very well indeed. You have come far, and now your journey is at its end." He says walking in front of us "Is this your country?" Lucy asks "No, my country's lies beyond." He answers "Is my father in your country?" Caspian asks "You can only find that out yourself, my son. But you should know that if you continue there is no return." Aslan tells him
Caspian looks at me. "If you go, I go" I tell him He gives me a nod then walks up to the water. He reaches out and touches it. Then turns back around. "You're not going?" Edmund asks "I can't imagine my father would be very proud that I gave up what he died for. I spent too long wanting what was taken from me and not what was given. I was given a kingdom. A people. A beautiful Queen by my side" he says smiling at me before walking over to Aslan "I promise to be a better king" he tells him "You already are" Aslan tells him
"Children" Aslan says turning to them "I think perhaps it's time we went home actually Lu." Edmund says "But I thought you loved it here?" Lucy asks "I do. But I love home and our family as well. They need us." Edmund tells her but before she could speak reep steps forward "Your eminence. Ever since I can remember, I have dreamt of seeing your country. I have had many heart adventures in this world but nothing dampened that yearning. I know I am hardly worthy but with your permission. I would lay down my sword for the joy of seeing your country with my own eyes." Reep tells him "My country was made for noble hearts such as yours, no matter how small their bearers be." Aslan tells him "Your majesty" he bows "No one could be more deserving" Caspian tells reep "Well I-" he starts to say "It's true" Edmund cuts him off then bows Lucy walks over and kneels next to him "May I?" She asks "Well I suppose just this-" he says but Lucy grabs him giving him a hug "Goodbye Lucy" he tells her
Then Eustace kneels down next to him "Don't cry" reep says "I don't understand. Will I not see you again? Ever?" Eustace asks "What a magnificent puzzle piece you are and a true hero. It has been my honor to fight beside such a brave warrior and a great friend." Reep says giving him a bow
Then I walk over from my place next to Caspian, kneeling down. "Now if Lucy gets a hug I must get one too" I tell him and he jumps in my arms giving me a hug "Thank you for being by my side, I truly appreciate your bravery and kindness" I tell him "And I as well Cora. Thank you for being my Queen. Goodbye Cora" he bows before walking towards the water
He sticks his sword in the ground before jumping on the small boat there for him. Then he floats up the wave, looking back one last time. Before going to into Aslan's country.
"This is are last time here isn't it?" Lucy asks "Yes. You have grown up my dear one. Just like Peter and Susan." He tells her "Will you visit us in our world?" She asks putting her hand on him "I shall be watching you always." He tells her "How?" She asks tearing up "In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason you were brought to Narnia. That by knowing me here for a little you may know me better there." He tells her "Will we meet again?" She asks "Mm yes dear one. One day." He says then lets out a mighty roar
The waters split forming a pathway for them. "You're the closest thing I ever had to a family. And that includes you Eustace." Caspian says putting his hand on his shoulder "Thank you" he smiles Then he embraces Edmund, then Lucy. They give Aslan a hug before turning to me. "Goodbye Lucy. Carry on with your joy and hope. I will greatly miss you" I smile tears forming in my eyes "I as well. I love you Cora" Lucy cry's "I love you too" I say pulling her into a hug
"Edmund, which bravery and just, keep that inside. Goodbye, I'll miss you greatly as well" I tell him pulling him into a hug "I love you" I say "I love you too" he says hugging me tighter
"Eustace" I call out as he was facing away from me I walk over and embrace him in a hug "I may not have known you for long, but you have such kindness and love in your heart. Don't let the world out it out again ok?" I ask him "Thank you. I won't. I promise" he tells me as we pull apart
Edmund and Lucy start to walk by Eustace turns to look at Aslan "Will I come back?" He asks "Mariano may yet have need of you" he answers before he turns away walking towards the water "I'll tell your crush you said goodbye Edmund!" I yell and they all turn around to look at me. Edmund just staring at me as Lucy and Eustace laughed. Then the water started to fall in front. Till there was no sight let of them.
Narnia celebrated for two whole weeks after our return. The lost souls were saved, the evil was defeated, and Narnia fulfilled full peace all around. I stood on the balcony looking down at the people cheering.
"Caspian?" I say turning to look at him He turns to face me "Cora?" He says in the same tone "I love you" I smile "I love you more than you could ever imagine" he smiles back "Is that so?" I ask "It is so" he tells me "Well if that is then I-" I start to say but he leans down to kiss me
"What was that for?" I ask once we pull apart. "To get you to not argue back that you love me more" he answers "Oh so you mean to shut me up?" I ask fake offended "What no Cora that's not what I meant-" he starts to apologize but this time I cut him off with a kiss
"And what was that for?" He asks this time "Because I love you obviously" I roll my eyes "One more for good measure then?" He asks "Only for you" I laugh as he holds me close dipping me while in a kiss. I hear the crowd erupt with louder cheers and laughter as we do. Once he lifts me back up we stand at the edge of the balcony, waving at the people of Narnia.
And I could only think, how beautiful I have it in life.
