Trumpkin says "It's our only chance" Peter tells him "And she won't be alone" I tell him "Haven't enough of us died already?" He asks "Nikabrik was my friend too. But he lost hope. Queen Lucy hasn't, and neither have I" Trufflehutter speaks up "For Aslan!" Reepicheep cheers holding his sword up "For Aslan!" A bear cheers as well "Then I'm going with you" Trumpkin tells Lucy "No we need you hear" Lucy tells him "We have to hold them off until Lucy and Cora get back" Peter tells them "If I may, Miraz may be a tyrant and a murderer. But as king, he is subject to the traditions and expectations of his people. There is one particular thing that may buy us time" Caspian tells us all
"Are you sure I can't take your place in the fight? Peter I don't want you dying" I tell him "No Cora, you and Lucy saw Aslan, you must go find him. I can do this" he tells me "Alright, I trust you. But under no circumstances you die ok? That's an order" I laugh "I won't, go find him" Peter smiles giving me a hug before I turn away to leave
Lucy and I get into the horse with Caspian's help. "Destrier has always served me well. You are in good hands" Caspian tells us "Or hooves" Lucy laughs I grab the reins in my hands adjusting my position. When I look up Caspian was looking at me. "You know, I think you should grow a beard. It would look good." I tell him "You really think so?" he laughs "Yeah, I'll give you a thousand reasons after the fight" I smile "Well I'll be waiting for that talk then" he smiles Then I pull on the reins making the horse start to run "Stay alive Caspian!" I yell "As well as you!" He yells back
"A thousand reasons huh?" Lucy teases me "Oh shut up" I laugh as we ride off
"Ride!" I hear a man yell after a few minutes of us riding. "They've seen us!" Lucy says I throw the reins, making the horse ride faster. After I few seconds I knew we couldn't out ride them. I stop the horse and jump down. "You'll have to hold the reins" I tell Lucy giving them to her "What are you doing?" She asks me "Sorry Lu. It seems that you'll be going alone nonetheless" I sigh I put my hand on the back of the horse and it takes off running.
I turn back around taking out my sword. I listened carefully for the sound of hooves stomping. Then I see them coming towards me. "Alright boys, round two" I smirk
One of the rides by me and I slice my sword high knocking him off of his horse. The same with the next one. But I let my guard down with the last one, I luckily ducked in time but his horse knocked me down. He starts to charge at me and I glance at my sword on the ground. "Éla!" I yell just in time to grab it and knock him down. But at the same time I knocked him down, Caspian hit him down. I look up to see him on his horse before shaking my head. "Thanks, I had it covered but thanks" I laugh standing up "I know you did, but a little hurt doesn't hurt right?" He smirks at me sticking out his hand I gladly take it and he lifts me up onto the horse.
We start to ride back to the fight. As I hold on tight to Caspian so I don't fall. "Well while we're riding do you want to know some of the reasons you should grow a beard?" I ask him "Surely you don't have a thousand" he laughs "You might be surprised" I smirk
