Eustacespits fire at the monster and grabs onto his face. The monster throws him he the boat and before he could hit the water he flys back up. But the monster grabs him and pull him into the water. And once they resurface it throws Eustace into a rock. "Come in Eustace! You can do it!" I yell and he looks at me before turning back and spitting fire at it again. Its face catches fire and it goes back into the water. "Out creature!" The Rhoop yells "No! The sword!" I yell trying to stop him but he already threw it. Hitting Eustace in the shoulder. "Eustace!" Lucy and I both yell But he flys away "No come back!" Lucy yells "We're all doomed! Doomed! Turn this ship about!" Rhoop yells going up the stairs "Stop him! Someone stop him!" I yell but it was too late, he starts to turn the ship But luckily Drinian punches him, knocking him out cold. "Now crew, to your rowing positions! Oars at double speed!" He yells
But there was only one thing that could save us now, Aslan. 'Aslan, I know you can hear me. Help us.' I say in my head And I see a bird fly out of the clouds causing a little light to shine through. Making me know, he heard me.
Suddenly the monster throws its body over the ship. Wrapping itself around us. Everyone goes flying as the ship starts to slowly break. I stand at the wheel steering the boat when I see a rock, and an idea pops into my head. "Caspian! Ed!" I yell and they turn to look at me "We will ram the serpent! Smash him on the rocks!" I yell "Steer her to port! I will keep it on the prow!" Edmund tells me
I started to steer it towards the rocks watching Edmund climb to the front of the boat. I wanted to go and help. But that's when I heard him. "Not yet" I hear Aslan speak to me
"Edmund!" I yell when I see the serpent start to break the head of the ship where he was. I steer the boat as best as I could, getting closer every second. I watch as he climbs to the top of the boat, completely visible to the serpent. "Archers ready!" Drinian yells I look to my left seeing Lucy hesitant to release the arrow she had. "You can do it Lucy, believe in yourself as I do" I tell her. She looks at me before looking back and releasing the arrow. It flys through and hits the serpent straight in the eye. "Brace yourselves!" Caspian yells as we were about to hit the rock We smash into the rock and Edmund comes flying down. I saw the green mist coming out of it, we were hurting it.
But it gets back up and starts to glow, as if the magic was healing it. As if it couldn't get any worse it expanded its body. "You've got to be joking me" I mumble "Move!" Caspian yells grabbing Edmund out of the way just as it tried to attack him. Caspian then chops off its leg and we watch as it disappears. "We can beat this" Caspian says "Together" I add as we jump up "We have to get closer" Edmund says "Ready the harpoons!" Caspian yells as Edmund and I take off running
We both start to climb up the rope as the serpent attacked the boat more. The rest of the crew tried to pull its head down with the ropes they fired at it. Its head hits the wood Edmund and I were climbing on cashing us to stumble.
But just as we reached the top I heard the voice again. Only this time not Aslan's. "Cora, what are you trying to prove yourself again for? Haven't you done it already? Was it not enough for them? Oh honey when will you realize you were never enough in the first place. You're just a scared little girl, from Finchley." My mom tells him "Cora! Edmund! Do it!" I hear a faint sound of Caspian yelling
"Take my hand, and you can go back to before all of this, where your father is still alive, where we're a happy family." She says reaching out her hand I look at her face to face "No, you were never my family. I won't ever be good enough for you, because you expect me to do everything right. But I'm human, I make mistakes just as everyone else does, but that does not make me less worthy" I tell her "You make mistakes that causes the people you love to die and fail" she yells at me "That was your mistakes." I tell her "You're my daughter Cora, you're just like me" she smirks thinking she could convince me "I'm nothing like you. I make my mistakes right" I say and look down to see my sword glowing a bright blue
I look back up at her and smirk "Just like right now" I tell before turning around towards the serpent as I see Edmund do the same next to me "Come on!" Edmund yells Then it attacks us, but Edmund and I stab our swords into it. "No!" I hear my mom yell as her voice slowly fades away We push our sword in harder before pulling it out. The serpent starts to get struck my lighting and its whole body glows. Before he goes limp, falling into the water.
Then all around us the light starts to shine through. "We've done it" I smile turning to Edmund as we both sat "That was a lot of work no?" I ask him out of breath "Yeah, I think I'll take a nap for a week now" he laughs "Agreed" I smile before we both start to climb back down
"Edmund! Cora! Caspian! Look!" Lucy exclaims as we make it to the bottom We look out into the water, to see all the boats with the innocent lives, coming back. "Narnians!" Our crew yells before clapping and cheering "Mummy!" Gael yells "Helaine!" Rhince yells them they both jump in the water swimming over to them.
Caspian comes over to my side, holding me. "My courageous, brave dear" he smiles "My strong, handsome love" I smile back
"Let's help them on board!" I yell "Clear the decks!" Caspian yells as we join Lucy's and Edmund's side "We did it. I knew we would" Lucy smiles "It wasn't just us though" Edmund says "You mean?" Caspian asks and he gives him a nod "I knew that boy had something in him" I laugh then we hear yelling "Lucy! Edmund! Cora!" The voice yells and we knew that from anywhere "I'm over here! I am in the water!" He yells as we walk over seeing him "Eustace!" Lucy exclaims "I'm a boy again! I'm a boy!" He yells happily "Eustace I see your wings have been clipped." Reep says jumping into the water with him "Where the sky and water meet where the waves grow ever sweet" reep yells "It is sweet" he mumbles as they taste the water Then he jumps onto his shoulder "Look! Look!" Reep exclaims as we look in the distance seeing a wave, that wouldn't fall, nor calm. "Aslan's country. We must be close" Caspian says "Well, we've come this far" Edmund laughs "Yeah why not, didn't want to sleep or anything like that" I mumble and they turn to look at me "What? I'm just kidding, of course I want to go see him" I say raising my hands in defense
