SETTLE WAS CURRENTLY FACING A STORM OF CHAOS, WITH THE death toll rising by the day. The newspapers had been filled with reports of this for months, but I never paid much attention. I always thought it was just a ploy for attention. Unlike the newspapers, I remained unnoticed.

It seemed like invisibility was my superpower, a constant in my life. Whenever I tried to make my presence known, people would act surprised, as if I had appeared out of thin air.

As I found myself being chased by three bikers, I knew I had to escape.

"Hey there, sweet cheeks," one of them shouted, his voice rough.

"We just want to play a little game," another one snickered menacingly.

What they wanted was not going to be enjoyable. It would be enjoyable for them, but not for me.

I sprinted through the rain-soaked streets of Seattle, my heart pounding in my chest. The storm of chaos that had engulfed the city seemed to mirror the turmoil within me. The death toll rising by the day was a grim reminder of the danger lurking in every corner, but I had always dismissed it as exaggerated tales meant to sell newspapers.

But now, as I desperately tried to evade the three bikers hot on my trail, I realized the gravity of the situation. The chaos was real, and I was no longer invisible to the dangers that plagued the city. The realization hit me like a bolt of lightning, fueling my determination to survive.

As the bikers closed in, their taunting voices echoing through the empty streets, I knew I had to find a way to escape. My mind raced, searching for a solution amidst the chaos. I darted down a narrow alley, hoping to lose them in the labyrinthine streets of the city.

The rain poured down relentlessly, drenching me to the bone, but I pushed forward, my determination unwavering. The sound of their roaring engines grew fainter, giving me a glimmer of hope. I took a sharp turn, my feet slipping on the wet pavement, but I managed to regain my balance.

I could hear my own ragged breaths, the pounding of my heart drowning out all other sounds. The city seemed to hold its breath, as if it too sensed the imminent danger. I pressed on, my legs burning with exertion, my mind focused solely on survival.

I paused in a narrow alley, my heart racing as I sprinted, the sound of my footsteps echoing on the wet pavement. Finally, I came to a halt at a solid brick wall. Suddenly, the laughter of one of the bikers ceased, replaced by a puzzled expression as he gazed at me.

"Hey, hold on a second," the man sporting an auburn beard exclaimed. "Where did she go?"

What? I was right there, right in front of them. How could they have missed me?

"She went this way," the bandana-clad man pointed out.

"Yeah, she can't have gone too far," chimed in the short blonde man.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart as I pressed myself against the brick wall, hoping they wouldn't see me. The sound of their heavy boots grew louder as they approached, their voices getting closer and closer.

I closed my eyes, praying that they would pass by without noticing me.

In a split second, a woman with fiery red hair materialized from the heavens, gracefully landing between me and the rowdy bikers. The air crackled with anticipation as the bikers erupted into a chorus of mockery and wolf-whistles, oblivious to the impending doom that awaited them.

With a strength that seemed otherworldly, she moved with a ferocity that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying. Each biker stood no chance against her as she unleashed a torrent of blows, her hands and teeth transforming into lethal weapons. Like a bear ravaging its prey, she tore through the bikers with a merciless efficiency that left me frozen in terror.
