AS I VENTURED INTO THE UNKNOWN, A PECULIAR SENSATION washed over me, urging me to act. It was a mysterious force that could hold immense significance or be as insignificant as a passing breeze. This inexplicable feeling consumed me as I discreetly followed Bella and Edward, their every move captivating my attention. I couldn't comprehend their decision to stray away from the bustling crowd. Perhaps they sought solace in seclusion, or maybe Bella's heart longed for the transformative embrace of vampirism in that very moment. With a flick of my cloak, rendering me invisible, I nestled myself among the towering trees, becoming a silent observer of the newlyweds as they gracefully traversed the enchanting night landscape.

As they wandered through the tranquil forest, Bella found herself amused by the unexpected sight in front of her. "What's a wedding present doing out here?" she remarked, her gaze sweeping the area.

Edward grinned mischievously. "Just a little more private," he responded, guiding her further into the trees.

A wedding gift in the middle of the woods? My curiosity was piqued as I followed them, wondering what Edward had in store for Bella in this secluded spot.

"Did Edward prepare something special?" I murmured to myself, scanning the surroundings for any hints.

Suddenly, a tall figure emerged from the shadows, his presence demanding attention. Standing at an impressive height of six feet seven inches, he approached the newlyweds with confidence, his dark eyes and russet skin standing out against the pale-skinned couple. He would be how I imagined Seth would look like if he was older.

"The best man didn't have time to get a tux," he joked, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Jacob!" Bella exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth as she embraced him tightly. The two friends laughed and engaged in lively conversation, reminiscing about old memories and catching up on lost time.

"Jacob Black?" I muttered in astonishment, surprised by the unexpected reunion.

Memories flooded back of lazy afternoons spent at the Black household, seeking solace from my own family troubles. But why wasn't he present at the wedding? It seemed that Edward had arranged for Jacob to be a part of this surprise, and I couldn't help but wonder what their connection meant for Bella and Edward's relationship. I observed the trio, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

Then, I heard the distinct caw of a raven from above. I recognized that caw anywhere. I looked up and spotted her perched on a branch.

"Hello, Lenore," I whispered to the raven. "Don't worry, I'm just watching..."

Lenore tilted her head and let out another caw, as if acknowledging my presence. I wondered if Ingram would see what Lenore was looking at this moment.

Edward gracefully excused himself from the group, his eyes scanning the room for his next move. "I'll see if Rosalie wants to dance," he said before disappearing into the crowd.

I couldn't help but wonder what his intentions were, but my attention was quickly diverted as Jacob arrived, fashionably late.

"I'm sorry I'm late," he said, his voice deep and smooth.

"It doesn't matter," Bella replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Everything's perfect now."

Without hesitation, Jacob took her hand and pulled her close. He lifted her off the ground, twirling her around before they began to dance. I watched in awe as they moved together, their bodies in perfect sync. But as I watched, a feeling of unease crept over me.

"Where have you been?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "We were gonna put your face on a milk carton."

"Mostly northern Canada," Jacob replied, his eyes distant. "It's weird to be back on two legs again, in clothes. Gotten out of practice with the whole human thing."
