Walker's POV
"Why the hell was the last call you had with your ex," I stare at Hailie gloomily, her face in shock.
"Walker" Hailie says as stares at the ground avoiding eye contact with me. "He called me, I would never call him. It's been a year since we broke things off and he randomly decided to break no contact today..." She continued her voice trembling a little.
"What was he calling for?" I ask her gently, I don't want to hurt her. I might be mad but hurting her is the last thing I will ever do to her, I make a silent promise of that in my head.
"He asked for another chance.." She took a deep breath "I told him he had his chance a while ago." Her eyes finally met mine cautiously, I release a sigh of relief unintentionally.
It would be bad enough if Hailie went off and dated another guy (who's not the awesome Walker Scobell) but it would be even worse if she went off and dated that shit-eating rat, Jack, her ex.
"That's good, the last thing you need Hailie is to go off dating Jack-the-Joker," I light-heartedly joke as if I wasn't getting ready to go to bed listening to depressing music 30 seconds ago.
I saw Hailie's lips turn upward into a grin until a small giggle escapes from her lips. I felt a sense of accomplishment that I was able to make her laugh.
Brady clears his voice loudly to remind us there's more than just us two in the room.
"Well, now that we've cleared that up, Hailie you haven't told me OR Brady about this ex of yours so spill the tea girlie," McKenna interrupts desperate to understand me and Hailie's conversation.
Hailie goes on to explain Jack (Jack the Joker, I like to call him) and his toxicities towards Hailie, the way she manipulated her, the emotional abuse, and the damages he caused to her career.
By the end, Brady and McKenna were speechless by how many crazy and horrible things Jack did to Hailie, the sweetest girl ever.
"Okayy, enough about Jack back to the game," Hailie announced, hoping she can go back to ignoring her Jack problem.

After another hour or so of Truth or Dare passed it was 2 am. Luckily there was no filming tomorrow so staying up had no consequences.
"Guys, we should do Insta live" Brady recommended, still sugar high after stealing MY pack of double stuff Oreos.
"Totally, I say we should do it on Walker's account because he has the most followers," Hailie adds pointing to me, I nod my head in agreement and set up the live.
"Heyyy guys," Hailie greets the camera "all four of us are having a sleepover and Brady brought up the wonderful idea of an Insta live."
"Be thankful guys, and maybe if Walker and Hailie do something cute enough you guys can clip it and make some edits of the two," Brady adds teasing me and Hailie, met by the go-to eye roll that me and Hailie always share. But I have to admit embarrassingly, I kind of enjoy the shipping between the two of us. It gives me a thrill of people think I and Hailie work well together, of course, I would never admit that out loud to anyone ESPECIALLY not Brady or McKenna.
"Yeah, today Hailie and Walker were holding hands while watching a rom-com" McKenna continues the teasing having everyone in the chat going crazy.
User 5: I'm already screen-recording guys don't worry
User2: If Hailie and Walker never get together then I don't believe in love
User8: Shipping them is so weird... like I really don't see it
User4: Hailie's too hot for him
I read the comments as they quickly go by.
"Hey!" I say defensively at chat "I'm hot enough for Hailie" I whine which makes Hailie get into a fit of laughter that she does a lot, I personally think it's the most adorable thing ever.
"Whatever you want to think Walker," McKenna remarks sarcastically and whispers something in Hailie's ear that makes her cheeks flush bright pink.
I begin to read the comments out loud, "do karaoke" I announce to everyone.
"YESS!" Brady yells, which makes us all laugh. Brady's always belting out songs (making my ears bleed🙄) any chance he gets.
Brady obviously goes first with the song "Roar" By Katy Perry which had to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Brady sings at the top of his lungs with the karaoke music video pulled up behind him. Hailie and I couldn't hold back our laughter any longer, doubling over with in laughter as tears streamed down her cheeks. McKenna joined in, all three of our waves of laughter echoing each other clutching our sides, struggling to catch our breath between fits of giggles.
The song ended with Brady "attempting" to hit the most atrocious high note ever heard, continuing the chain of long laughs.
"Well," He says walking over to us and noticing the tears rolling down Hailie's face in laughter "What did you think guys?" He asked.
"Brady you are incredible," I say pointing at Hailie who was still laughing her ass off.
"Now the real question is what would chat rate that out of scale of 1-10?" He questioned pointing at the camera.

"Seems like Chat liked it," I grinned at Brady's proud expression.
"You turn now buddy," He says facing me "And I get to pick the song," He wiggles his brows teasingly as he looks for the most embarrassing song possible.
"Walkeerrrrr, guess what song I picked out for you," Hailie calls out showing to the Instagram live.
"Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield" She laughs as the music starts playing and she hands me the microphone. It was my turn to make her laugh now.

I sing out adding in intentional voice cracks that I thought made it that much funnier. The more I sang the more hilarious it got, it even had me cracking up mid-song.
Now this was a much better mood than when we were on the topic of Jack, wasn't it?
