"Break me down and beat me blue. There ain't a kindness on the planet that compares to you."

Today is the day for Hallie and Quinn's wedding. I've been up since the ass crack of dawn helping her get all the last minute details prepared. I'm tired, hungry, and ready this get this show on the road.
My hair and makeup are done but I'm still running around in a robe. Everyone is acting so chaotic expect Hallie, she's so relaxed and it's slightly pissing me off.
I've been to many weddings, I absolutely love them. I have never seen someone as calm as her, it's ridiculous. She's just sitting in a chair drinking Pepsi out of a wine glass. I'm more of a Dr. Pepper girl myself but if it keeps her happy then whatever.
"Lainey would you please stop running around."
I turn to her and blow an exasperated breath between my lips. "Why am I the only one that cares about getting everything set up?"
"Oh I care, just not that much." Hallie crosses her leg over her opposite knee. She's staring up at me with her hair a mess and her makeup only half way done.
"You are driving me up the wall." I pull her out of the chair and start pushing her little polly pocket ass towards the room. "Go get ready. Now. I'm going to come check on you in 15 minutes and if you aren't done up then I'm going to loose my mind."
Hallie flashes me a wide smile as she stumbles into the room. "You are going to make someone a fantastic wife. Thanks for caring so much sweetheart. I'll see you in 15."
I release a heavy sigh before running off towards the beach where the ceremony will take place.

"Okay places everyone,." Hallie shooes us out of the house. The ceremony is starting and she is now a nervous wreck.
We are all standing on the back porch. I can see the arch and all the people waiting for us from here.
I've been avoiding Luke these past couple of days but today I just can't. Hallie decided to partner us up for everything. Which meant we are standing side by side, arms intertwined as we wait for our que.
He hasn't looked away from me once. Hasn't shyed away even though I've caught him staring a million times. It's bothering me and I don't know why he won't quit.
"Stop staring Luke I won't tell you again."
Luke leans down so that he's whispering in my ear. His breath fans out across my neck. "What are you gonna do about it Lainey the shadow? I can practically feel the tension rolling off your body. I think you like it."
