"My hearts been borrowed and yours has been blue. All's well that ends well to end up with you. Swear to be over dramatic and true to my, lover."

Luke and I are going on our very first date and I can honestly say I'm not nervous. Jack really helped me come to terms with my feelings and ever since I asked Luke to be my boyfriend only a few days ago things have been so great.
He picked me up a few minutes ago outside of my house. A massive bouquet in his arms as he stood at the door with his signature smile.
"Knew you couldn't resist me." He said as if he was absolutely certain this was going to happen. He knew he'd wear me down enough and that I'd finally agree.
I feel bad because I can tell he is nervous as all hell. On a good day Luke is an awkward, fumbling mess and today it's at a tenfold. He's tripped at least eight times. He accidentally smacked me in the face when he was reaching back so he could back up the truck.
It's so amusing to see us switch positions that I can't help but laugh to myself as we pull into the parking lot for the drive in movie. Scanning around I notice that it's relatively empty. Apparently people don't want to watch Mamma Mia on a random Wednesday.
Luke silently pulls into a spot that gives us a perfect view of the screen and the sun on the cusp of setting behind it. I have to admit that it is a gorgeous view, better than I imagined.
I don't know how he did it but someone Luke found a truck for us to use. I took a peak in the back earlier and was overwhelmed to see that he had it all decked out. Blankets, pillows, baskets of what I assume is food. He seriously pulled out all the stops.
Blowing a breath through his lips Luke turns to look at me. "Are you ready?"
"I'm always ready to watch Mamma Mia." Which is true. One, I absolutely love that movie. Two, I decided that I will do whatever it takes to make this night good. I've put him through enough that it would be the very least I could do.
He smiles softly at me before helping me into the bed. We get settled next to each other and soon enough the movie starts.
~*~*~
Luke and I haven't watched one second of this movie. We have been talking the entire time, our voices are hushed so we don't disturb the very few people around us.
"I've been thinking of our future house." I whisper to him. The words causing a gentle hmm to rumble through his chest. Randomly I found myself laying on his chest. He's got his head propped up on a pillow and his fingers are twisting a lock of my hair.
