"you look mad good ma-ma" i walked into her room and she had on a nice, white, off the shoulder, sheer, ruffled dress with her stomach showing. her skin was glowing effortlessly and her natural hair was straight.
"thank you" she smiled softly "do you like my makeup?" she pointed at her face. I hadn't too much noticed but it still looked good. "i had someone do it" she added as i nodded
"it look good"
"im just not used to the dramatic look" her hands ran through her hair "i added a few tracks in to make it fuller" she added referring to her hair. She didn't want to to wear her natural hair but being that her wig didn't come she had no choice really.
"you two look really nice!" her mom stepped into her room with a grin
"thank you" we both responded as one
"so i just left the venue to make sure everything was good and i don't know girl" she hesitated. i could see the anxiousness and nervousness take over nicki. she hated not being in control and if things were bad she'd lose it.
"i don't know if your sisters are selling pussy or scammers because i didn't know we could afford certain shit"

"so the colors bright or what? I had on pink and orange to match the sun theme and Ari said change it was throwing it off" I chimed in and her moms face screwed up
"sun themed?" she looked at nicki who nodded
"it ain't no sun theme what the fuck are y'all talking about??" she seemed confused

"Hassan and his aunties has been telling us it's a son themed baby shower?" Nicki sounded hesitant
"they lied but i won't tell you the theme" she turned to head out "come on!"
