"she look just like me" i held Capri up to get a good look at her. "ayo this shit crazy" i was too happy.
"let me see her" nicki held her hands out. this was the first time we really had alone with her.
for the last 2 or so hours my mom, her mom, her dad, her sisters, and the kids had been in the room with her.
we finally got alone once it got late and everyone started to leave.
"she's so cute" nicki curled her bottom lip "i thought my sisters were just talking" she uttered
"im finna stuff the bags up so they can come refill it" i grabbed the empty diaper bag on the side of the bed.
"she actually does look like yo- well she looks like the baby pictures you showed me of kairi"
"and kairi looks like me" i was dropping any and everything in the bag. if it looked useful it was going in.
I don't know what these tubes could be used for but i had them in the bag just incase.
"i know i said id bottle feed but when i was feeding her it felt more natural" nicki confessed "she was staring at me and she latched so easily"
"you was just tryna rush to work that's why you wanted to do bottle feeding"
"and i was gone leave her with you so i can go club and party" she made kissing sounds.
i turned around and sized her. just 9 months ago she was tryn kill my baby now she all in her face like shit sweet.
"but mommy fell in love with this girl so much" she spoke in a baby voice "you so perfect to me girl" she continued
"tell her what you was saying behind her back 9 months ago" once the bag was full i zipped it closed
"that i wanted to kill that baby and move on with my life?" she continued in the baby voice
"mommy change her mind" she went in and kissed her on the cheek
"now, i done told everybody that's seen her not to post her or be kissing on her nowhere what rules do you have?"
"shit" i sat the bag back on the floor "no kisses, wash yo hands, don't come around sick, no strong scents or smoke-"
