Patrick is serving. Y/n stared at him as he does his weird serve, putting his racket behind his head like he's going to throw a shot put before leaping up off both feet and met the toss in the air.
they hit the ball back and forth until Art hit an overhead smash.
the people clapped for Art as the players readied themselves again.
Patrick resets and serves.
"out!"
Patrick frowned and went to serve again.
he served a slow ball and Art hit it.
straight into the net.
"fuck!" Art cursed and walked along the baseline.
the crowed gasped, never having heard Art Donaldson curse on court before.
both Y/n and Tashi lean forwards in their seats and glared at the man, absolutely furious.
"unsportsmanlike conduct. verbal obscenity. warning, Donaldson." the umpire called.
Art doesn't even acknowledge the penalty and resets.
Patrick smirks at Art and goes to serve. he sends in a spinning serve that Art managed to return but Patrick rips a forehand crosscourt.
Art, clearly frustrated with himself, raises his racket and goes to smash it, but stops himself.
