Evelyn's POV:

I can't believe my lord stopped me from killing Astarion. He spills trouble, but who am I to say? I've done much worse in the past and probably will in the future. I have to keep my lord in line. He needs to spill some blood soon, or his father will control my lord's body again. I was lost in thought as we stopped by an untamed portal. My lord was going to touch it, but I stopped him. 'My lord, let me touch it. I don't want you getting hurt,' I said. The dragonborn looked at me, then sighed. 'Fine, if it helps you,' the dragonborn stepped away from the untamed portal, and I touched it. It zapped me. As soon as I pulled my hand away, an arm came through the portal, and a man's voice said, 'a hand, anyone?' I looked at the arm, then at the dragonborn. His eyes were murderous, and I smiled. 'Do you want to help him, my lord?' The dragonborn didn't say a thing, just walked up to the arm. But he froze and shook his head. I looked at him, shocked. How did he tame his urge? I thought the man in the stone would be a goner.

The Dark Urge POV:

What was this feeling? Why did it just come over me? My body was moving by itself towards the arm. My mind whispered 'murder' over and over, but then it suddenly stopped, and my mind was clear. I snapped back into reality and helped the guy out of the untamed portal. As we both fell to the ground, the guy from the portal stood up and dusted himself off. 'Hello there, my name is Gale of Waterdeep. Nice to make your acquaintance,' he said. As I got up, Gale shook my hand. 'I'm usually better at this,' I looked at him. 'At introductions?' I said. Gale smiled. 'At magic. Say, I saw you on the ship, didn't I?' I looked at the bodyguard, worried she's going to attack this guy too, but to my surprise, she looked at him calmly. That's a first. Well, I know she didn't attack Shadowheart because maybe she didn't get the chance, I thought. Astarion looked at Gale, worried, thinking Gale was going to be attacked by my bodyguard. Gale looked at my bodyguard, then at me. 'Is everything alright?' Gale then looked at my bodyguard and walked towards her. 'Hello, my name is Gale. What's yours?' he smiled warmly at her, and everyone was scared for Gale approaching my bodyguard. My bodyguard looked at Gale softly as Gale shook her hand. 'You can call me the Dragonborn bodyguard,' Gale looks at her, then at me confused. 'You have a drow bodyguard? Well, consider yourself lucky. Drow bodyguards are very royal and do everything in their power to protect you,' Gale smiled wide at me, then at my bodyguard, and my bodyguard nodded. 'He's right. Tell me, Gale, how do you know this? Did you go into the Underdark?' Gale shook his head. 'I just read about drow culture in my studies,' he said as he let go of my bodyguard's hand. 'Looks like you have no room for me, but fear not, I'll make camp. Once you guys return, I'll cook a slow-cooked meal,' he said happily and left. My bodyguard looked distant. I walked towards her. 'Are you alright?' I said as she nodded. 'Let's keep moving, my lord,' she grabbed my hand and walked forward to see the githyanki we saw on the ship. 'My lord, that's the githyanki on the ship. Should we rescue her?' My bodyguard said softly. And when I was about to say something, Shadowheart cut me off. 'No, she's dangerous. We don't need her,' my bodyguard looked at Shadowheart. 'What's your problem with the githyanki?' Shadowheart's face went red. 'Are you really asking me?! They're the ones that attacked the ship!' I sighed. 'Both of you, calm down. We need to save her. She's infected like us,' Astarion looked at me. 'Are you sure? I don't want another one who's going to kill me: your bodyguard and the murderous gith. No, thank you,' he said jokingly as my bodyguard looked at Astarion intimidatingly, ready to cut him again, and Astarion saw. 'Ugh, it's a joke, darling. I'm just messing with you,' he said, annoyed. I look down at Astarion hiding behind me as my bodyguard also looked annoyed. 'I'm not here for jokes, elf, especially the one on my shit list,' she glares at him, and Astarion glares at her. 'I'm surprised you didn't attack Gale when he shook your hand. I thought you could have broken him in two,' my bodyguard looks away. 'Unlike Gale, he doesn't attack without knowing what he may be up against,' she sarcastically remarks. Astarion looks up at me. 'Where did you find this Drow? Honestly, she's no fun,' he notices a devil horn in her pocket as Astarion turns even paler. 'Is that a devil horn in her back pocket?' I nod. 'Yeah, it's her proudest moment on the ship.' Astarion breathes shakily. 'Please don't let her kill me.' I chuckle. 'Don't worry, I won't let her.' I tease Astarion. 'Come, we have to save the githyanki,' I said, walking away from Astarion as he freaks out. 'Wait for me! I don't want your bodyguard close to me,' he runs up to me as my bodyguard watches Astarion murderously. Once we got to the githyanki, there were two tieflings holding her up in a cage. As we approached them, the sensation began. The githyanki didn't move her lips, but she used her mind: 'Get rid of them.' I looked at the githyanki, and the two tieflings saw my bodyguard,' an under elf! 'Donna, get your weapon up!' My bodyguard was already annoyed. 'I'll give you a chance to live. Now go because I'm not very patient.' The two tieflings didn't hesitate; they ran as fast as they could. Once they were dealt with, we set the githyanki down. The githyanki said, 'Come, I know how to cleanse your tadpole. My kin hold a zaith'isk in their crèche.' Shadowheart looked at the githyanki cautiously and I looked at the githyanki, 'A zaith'isk? What's that?' The githyanki sighed, 'It's a machine that zaps away the tadpole. Now come!' She demanded as I looked at her, 'Fine, let's go to this crèche.' The githyanki looked at the four of us, 'There's no room, switch out your weakest warrior,' she said, waiting for my response. 'Meet me at the camp,' the githyanki nodded. 'You're one of the few who allied with Lae'zel, crèche of K'liir,' she smiled while Shadowheart looked at Lae'zel, then at me. 'I trust your judgement, but I'm still not sure of her,' Lae'zel looked at Shadowheart. 'Your tongue is good. Should you use it in your mind, elf,' Shadowheart got annoyed. 'Half-elf, if you ever heard of it. I doubt it, though githyanki only care about themselves,' I sighed deeply. This is going to be a long adventure, I just know it.
