The Dark Urge POV:

I walked back to the camp and saw Astarion and Evelyn chuckling with each other. I smiled and Gale looked at me with a smile, 'Hello, Dragonborn.' I looked down at Gale, 'Hello, Gale, is everything alright?' Gale looked at Evelyn with a smile, 'Yeah, I'm happy Evelyn is talking to the others now.' Gale crossed his arms and I joined him, 'Yeah, I'm proud of her. I was surprised that she wanted to stay with Shadowheart earlier.' I smiled and Gale looked at me, 'So, how was your day, Dragonborn?' I looked at Astarion, 'Just a day, I mostly forgot it all.' Gale looked at me worried, 'You forgot what you did?' I nodded, 'Yeah, but not all. I remembered I hung out with Minthara.' Gale noticed my tail going back and forth as he smiled, 'Did you have a nice visit?' I looked at Gale, 'Yeah, she's very nice to me. I... I accidentally called her mom.' I chuckled and Gale chuckled, 'That's good you trust her that much to call her mom. What did she do?' I looked at my hands. 'She calmed me down. We talked about my condition,' I sighed softly. Gale patted my shoulder. 'That's nice of her. If you want, you can talk to me too about your condition if you feel comfortable.' I looked at Evelyn, then at Gale. 'I might. I'll keep that in mind. Thank you, Gale.' Gale smiled at me. 'Anytime, Dragonborn.' Astarion looked at me and walked towards me. 'Hello, darling. How was your talk with Minthara?' I looked down at Astarion with a smile. 'It went well. How was your hunt with Evelyn? I saw her carrying a deer.' Astarion smiled. 'It went well. Evelyn was crazy, jumping to branches when we hunted,' he chuckled. Evelyn put the deer down on the ground and started to cut into the deer with her dagger. I looked at Evelyn and smiled, "Yeah, she's crazy, huh?" Astarion looked at Evelyn and then up at me, examining to see if I missed a spot of blood on me. I watched Astarion. "Astarion? What are you doing?" Astarion went behind me and then in front of me. "Just checking something, darling," he pulled down my shirt and kissed my cheek. I looked at him and relaxed. Evelyn, seeing this, smiled happily at us, then went back to scooping out the deer. I hear someone approaching. When I turn around, it's the bard. The bard walks up to me with a smile. 'I'm glad I found you,' she says. I approach her, and the bard lifts up her hands. 'Wait! I'm Alfira, a bard from the grove. I don't mean any harm!' She panics, and I look at her. Then I sigh softly. 'Is something wrong? Are the tieflings alright?' I ask. She nods, relieved. 'Oh, yes, everything is fine, thanks to you. That's why I'm here. When I heard what you had done, it inspired me and made me feel brave again.' Evelyn looks at Alfira as she is done with the deer. Alfira looks at me with a smile. 'I want to join you, to fight by your side. I want to help people as you've helped us.' I examine her. 'It's safer for you at the grove,' I say, crossing my arms. Evelyn walks up behind me, looking at Alfira, and Astarion joins Evelyn. Alfira looks down but then up at me again. 'True, but I'm a bard, remember? I want to do more than sing about other people's adventures,' she says, talking with her hands. I look at Evelyn, then at Alfira. 'You can stay. For now, let's see how you fare.' Alfira was surprised. 'Really? Oh, this is wonderful!' Evelyn sighs, 'I guess it's better for her to stay. We wouldn't want her accidentally drawing the wrong attention on us.' Evelyn crosses her arms, looks up at me, and I look at Evelyn. Then Alfira says, 'I won't let you down, I promise!' I look at Alfira with a smile as everyone walks away. Astarion yawns, 'Darling, are you ready to go to bed? I don't know how people do this all day.' He chuckles and hugs me close. I look down at Astarion, hugging him back, 'Sure, let's go.' I pick him up and carry him to the bedroll. Astarion rests his head on my chest and closes his eyes. Once I lay him down on the bedroll, I sit down next to him. Astarion opens his eyes and looks up at me, 'Darling, you can lay down with me.' I look at him feeling hesitant, 'I...I don't know yet. I'd love to, but I don't want my condition to hurt you.' Astarion sits up, 'Your condition didn't hurt me before, darling. Let's try for one night and see how it goes.' I look at Astarion with a worried look. 'Are you sure?' Astarion smiled at me, 'Yes, darling. Now come, let's rest.' He pulls me down with him. Once we both lay down, I look at him softly. 'Astarion, I don't...' Astarion holds me close, 'Don't even think about it, darling.' He kisses my cheek. 'Now rest, my dear.' I look at him for a moment, then I close my eyes. Astarion rubs my head, and we both fall asleep.
