Chapter 42

Standing before the bathroom mirror, Junkyu felt worn out yet energized at the same time, mainly thanks to the joy he had at the surprise party. He'd spent a solid four hours there, talking and laughing with the guests and devouring the foods that were to his and his pups' taste buds like he won't see food again for the rest of his life.

Aside from Yedam and Doyoung, he'd bagged another good news right before he left the site with his alpha; he managed to convince Ayida to stay with him until he gives birth to the pups.

The short experience he had with the beta maid in JeongWoo's island was too memorable to forget. Junkyu could remember the motherly hands Ayida possessed. The way she treated his wounds after he attended JeongWoo's rut, her wise and comforting words, and not to mention her cooking skill that made him eat twice his regular portion. Although he was already pregnant at that time, Junkyu was sure he wouldn't eat as much if the food she cooked wasn't as good.

If Junkyu could be completely honest, his pregnancy scared him a little bit as it was his first time and he carried three at a time. And having someone as experienced and reliable as Ayida by his side through the rest of his pregnancy could make him feel at ease. And oh, he would love to spend his time playing with Dayana too when JeongWoo at work.

"What are you thinking about?" JeongWoo asked, steam blowing around him as he stepped out of the shower stall.

Junkyu shook his head with a smile on his face as he grabbed his moisturizer jar in the corner. Stretchmarks had already begun forming in his belly even though the pregnancy was only in its second trimester. Three babies means his belly going to stretch at least two times bigger than it should.

"Nothing." He said, slipping his bathrobe off one shoulder for his moisturizer-coated finger to reach the stretchmarks. "I'm just wondering if today was just a dream. It's too good to be true."

JeongWoo went to stand behind Junkyu instead of going to his designated sink, watching through the mirror as his omega lathered the cream across the bulging belly.

The alpha gulped dryly.

Despite the things Junkyu went through recently, the pregnancy looked good on him. His skin tone appeared somewhat creamier after his appetite returned to normal. His chest, although still held the same shape as before the pregnancy, they seemed fuller and softer in JeongWoo's eyes as though they began to adjust to provide milk for the unborn babies. And his round belly and widened hips; his mate looked unbelievably sexy carrying his pup.

"It's not a dream..." JeongWoo's voice strained in his throat as he inched closer, wondering if they could fulfill their duty as mates considering it was way past the first trimester. Damn! Four months without having to be inside his omega proven to be kind of torturous! "I'm glad you feel happy..." He added, tentatively placing his palm on Junkyu's naked shoulder.

"Happy? Are you kidding me? I'm more than happy." Junkyu chuckled, freeing his other shoulder from the robe to reach for the other side of his belly, clearly oblivious of his mate's growing tension.

JeongWoo sucked in a short breath. Junkyu's bathrobe was barely there, hanging only to hide his private part. It was such a tease for the thirsty alpha who hadn't had his release for months.

Unable to hold himself any longer, the alpha slowly leaned his head down and gingerly, as though testing the water, planted a kiss on Junkyu's shoulder. Junkyu looked up and smiled at him through the mirror, thinking his mate was just being sweet as usual then continued lathering his skin with the cream without much care to the alpha's gesture.

JeongWoo continued planting kisses across the naked shoulders, at slow pace dragging his lips against the soft skin all while he kept his eyes on the mirror, hoping Junkyu would eventually see the burning lust in them.
