JeongWoo sighed, squeezing his nose bridge as his phone blaring the same name for the seventh time. Doyoung seemed to be persistent this time around in reaching for his boyfriend, taking only a few minutes break in between his calls. JeongWoo has been successful in ignoring his texts and calls for days. He admitted to himself he was being a coward, delaying breaking his lover's heart, hoping Doyoung would take a hint and eventually walk away himself.

This time, however, he thought he should answer his phone. Something must've happened for his calm and laidback Doyoung to be this persevering, and just the thought of it made JeongWoo's stomach churn in uneasiness.

He gripped his phone on top of his desk, hesitation was visible from the way his hand hung above the solid surface for a few seconds before he brought it closer to him. Another seconds passed with his thumb hovering over the green button on the screen, still hoping Doyoung would hang up the call.

"Good to know you're here."

A voice coming from the door startled him. He looked away from his phone and saw his brother entering his office. The older Park was as intimidatingly calm as usual, striding towards the younger's desk with his hands inside his slacks pockets. He smirked playfully when he caught his younger brother tensed from his unannounced visit.

JeongWoo rolled his eyes at the tease. "And to what do I owe the honor of your presence?" He grumbled as he looked back at his phone only to find Doyoung's name was no longer there and sighed in relief internally for he doesn't need to pick up the call.

Jihoon chuckled, crossing his arms over his suit-covered chest as he leaned over to sit on the edge of the desk. "Father and mother want to see you." He informed with a solemn expression, glancing through his shoulder at JeongWoo.

The younger frowned. Unless he did something that was far from his parents' expectation, they wouldn't have requested his presence through Jihoon. "What did I do wrong this time?" He asked.

"Not yet, but probably will." The cryptic answer made JeongWoo narrowed his eyes at the older. "We need Mayor Kim, Woo." Jihoon sighed. "He's most likely going to get elected again and we need to maintain our status quo on arms dealing."

"And why exactly does it has anything to do with me? That's your line of work. I'm satisfied with just supplying this city with oil and gas." JeongWoo scoffed.

"Don't be stupid. Mayor Kim can take that rights from you too."

JeongWoo shrugged. "Take then. I don't care. It's not as if I don't have tenths other cities to supply." He spoke nonchalantly.

"Park JeongWoo." Jihoon's dominating pheromone exuded along the tone that meant business, effectively alerting the younger Park to stop with his nonsense.

JeongWoo might have little to no interest in family business or in becoming the next Park's head, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have any responsibility to keep the family at the top of social chain. And Jihoon was right, losing the current mayor's support going to harm the family business, not just one line, but multiple of them since most of their companies are operating under the city's jurisdiction.

"F-fine." He cleared his throat, trying to fight the excruciating pheromone his brother released that made him stutter. "You haven't told me what do I have anything to do with all this."

"I'm sorry. It slipped off." Jihoon muttered upon noticing JeongWoo's pale face and he stopped his pheromone from flowing out.

The younger exhale a breath he didn't know he was holding almost immediately and reached to loosen up his tie only to realize he wasn't wearing any. His brother's pheromone...no, scratch that. His whole family's pheromone except for Soi's nonexistent one was no joke.
