At the bustling guild of Minotaur, where the adventurers gathered to take a meal and chatter in the dining hall along with the whole members of the Wolf Pack, while within the guildmaster's office, Genji, Hannibal, Sorceress, and commander of Knighthood Azeroth gathered in one room. After Genji recovered, the essential items would give him leads about the person who sent them to kill him before he "disposed" of trash last night. A double-edged dagger with a carved snake head on the hilt, a pouch bag full of gold, and a piece of paper where there are several names of weird terminology were shown on the desk.
"Ebony Ear, White Tail, Cotton Jump, Snow Beauty—What the hell are these, Genji?" Hannibal asked him with an eyebrow raised, staring at him.
"So far, this is what I found from him after putting him 6 feet under along with his lackeys," Genji replied before releasing a deep sigh. Azeroth picked a dagger, and he inspected the details carefully, from the blade to the hilt itself.
"Whoever owed this knife surely has enough blood to feed this blade. It's not just the blood of the warrior that spilled but also the innocence, which is considered dishonorable. It's a shame that he took care of this piece for a malevolent cause," Azeroth said after putting down the one-hand weapon to the desk and looking at Genji.
Sorceress Evergarden was still puzzled by the names on the list and was paired with an illustrated sack beside it. Even her using a magic tool was not enough to encrypt it, as it doesn't have any mana essence but is just a normal ink made of charcoal and carbon. Probably to avoid being decrypted using a spell called "Enigma," according to an appraisal from Genji's HUD.
'White tail...... Snow Beauty...... Why is the terminology somehow familiar? ' The young lad pondered in deep thought as he noticed that if it's not a food or beverage, then it would be something else.
"Ms. Evergarden, can I ask?" Genji inquired as the sorceress looked at her.
"Yes. What is it, Genji?"
"What race does have dark skin with pointy ears?" Genji looked at her.
"Dark Elf, why?"
Genji started to pick up a piece of paper and pen on the table, AND Hannibal furrowed his eyebrows, puzzled at Genji's sudden action. He started to pair the race with the descriptive terminology from the table.
"Ebony ear... Dark Elf... what about the white tail and cotton jumper?"
Azeroth suddenly found out what Genji meant to do, so he started to state the races based on the terminology.
"White tail is Mountain Harpy. Cotton Jumper is a rabbitman since their tail looks like cotton from the plant. Snow beauty would be the Snow Fox clan."
It took them 10 minutes to finally get the actual terms from the nickname as well as the drawing of the bag and circle, which are actually the prices. A small coin is worth 5 delis, a large coin is worth 10 delis, a small pouch is equivalent to 20 delis, a large pouch is 50 delis, and a sack is 100 delis. Hannibal bashed his fist on the desk out of rage while Evergarden gripped on her staff and Azeroth gritted his teeth shut. Genji held on to the edges of the desk, contemplating what the next moves would be. He thought that Stampede was the only problem on which he should focus, but he only found out that he crashed into another wall that needed to be brought down to Smithereen.
"To think there's slave trading happening in Ontoria, worse that even the king of Midgaraia Empire under the Westalis Alliance Convention has a mandatory agreement of total prohibition of slavery, yet these bastards continue this ill practice under the majesty's nose. Damn them all!!!!" Azeroth burst in rage while Genji started picking up a cigarette from his jacket's pocket and held the filter part by his lips before burning the tip with a lighter.
