Two weeks had gone by and Taehyung hadn't talked to Jungkook about the cd store thinking it had nothing to do with him and that the boy owed him no explanation.

Today was Friday which meant they left the school early. Taehyung placed his earphones in his ears and turned on his music. He grabbed his jacket and left the classroom as he sang along quietly.

"When the smoke is going down~" he whispered nodding his head to the slow rhythm of the song.

On his way out he was sure to run into Jungkook as always but the boy was nowhere to be seen. The brunette was now on the parking lot, in front of his car, looking around but Jungkook wasn't there. He opened the door and got in, he knew driving with earphones could be dangerous but he didn't feel like pausing the song to play it on the car radio so taking out only one earphone, he started the car and drove off. He wanted to swing by the cd shop and decided to head there before going home.

On his way, he drove past Yoongi's house and a library he liked to go when he needed to study. He finally saw the banner of the small store stuck in between two bigger shops and smiled.

Taehyung parked his car, leaving his school bag and other belongings in it, only taking his phone and earphones with him. Making sure no car was passing, the boy crossed the street and entered the store. The familiar smell made him smile as he went straight to the counter to greet the owner.

"Hi Mr. Kim, I know it's been a whi-" The boy stopped dead in his track when his eyes landed on the person who was behind the counter.

"Jungkook???"

"Taehyung? What are you doing here?!" Taehyung wasn't used to hearing worry in friend's voice. It shocked him but was shocked him even more was the face of fear the came to mess with the ravenette's natural beautiful features.

"Me? What about you??"

"You shouldn't be here"

"Why? What are you doing here?"

"The store is closed" The boy pointed to the sign hanging outside.

"Oh, I didn't see, Mr. Kim usually lets me hang out here"

"He's not here today, can you please leave?"

"W-wait, you know him? Where is he??" a million thoughts were rushing through the elder's mind and he didn't seem to be able to get a grip.

"Please leave, Tae" Jungkook had left his spot behind the counter and was now pushing Taehyung out of the store.

"B-but wait"

"Bye!!" Jungkook waved goodbye and closed the door before rushing back inside.

Taehyung looked around him, he was now on the street with his back facing the closed store. He turned around and tried to see if he could catch a glimpse of the boy inside but to no avail, Jungkook had disappeared.

"What the hell?" He shook his head as if it would make his thoughts come up with a reasonable explanation. Trying to open the door one last time, Taehyung ended up getting back in his car and driving back home.

He opened the door and greeted his mother before heading to his room. He opened spotify and played his playlist. A few people were listening to it also as well as the usual user Seagull0109. Taehyung smiled and laid on his bed. He couldn't stop thinking about Jungkook in that tiny cd store. Why did he seem so panicked??

He took out his phone and texted the boy.

<Jungkook>

Me: Jungkook?? Are you free?

Jungkook: I'm busy today, why?

Me: I wanted to meet so we could talk

Jungkook: I'll see you tomorrow, Tae

Me: Um, okay then

Taehyung sighed, it was obvious that his friend was bothered and stressed, but why?? He knew he should just wait until tomorrow but he was desperate for an answer. He stuffed his head in his pillows and let out his frustration before turning on his computer and binge watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
