"Babe?" Jungkook took out his earphone and called his boyfriend.
"Yeah?" Taehyung did the same and stopped writing in his notebook.
"How come we never go to your place?" Jungkook placed both hands on the coffee table, expecting a conversation.
"Because there are no parents here" The brunette winked and chuckled like it was an obvious answer before starting writing again.
Jungkook stayed there dumbfounded, he expected more. He gently nudged the other to signal him the conversation wasn't over but Taehyung simply shrugged and pressed play on his phone. Jungkook tried to think of something else, but he kept on thinking about it for the next hour.
"Tae?" He scooched next to him and took his cellphone away.
"Hey, I'm using that" Taehyung pouted and turned to face his boyfriend.
"Let me ask you again, how come we never go to your place?" Jungkook asked.
"I told you-"
"I want a real answer, Tae"
"I don't know, I don't feel like it" Taehyung sighed and laid against the couch.
"Anything I can do to change that?" Jungkook ran his hand through the boy's brown locks.
"You really care about this don't you?" Taehyung tilted his head and bit his lip.
"I do, I want to get to know you" His hand went to cup Taehyung's chin for a second before falling on his hand.
"Fine, I can take you then" Taehyung got up and started gathering his stuff. Jungkook kept on looking at him trying to see if the boy was upset or something, but he couldn't tell.
The boys got into Jungkook's car and drove off. Taehyung was giving his boyfriend directions while he drove. He wasn't looking forward to this moment, but he knew he couldn't put it off any longer without creating problems in his relationship.
"You can park in front here" He pointed to an average sized house with a red door. The car stopped and Taehyung got out, he swung his bag across his shoulder and walked up the step. He opened the door and yelled to announce he was here.
A few steps could be heard until a woman appeared before them.
"Hi, mom" Taehyung smiled and kissed his mother on the cheek.
"And who is this?" The woman was smaller than Taehyung, you could tell she was older by the wrinkles on her face, but her beauty hadn't been affected by time.
"This is Jeon Jungkook, a friend of mine" Taehyung pointed to the tall ravenette.
"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Kim" Jungkook looked at Taehyung who didn't look back.
"Are you classmates?" The woman asked.
"Yes, we've known each other for some time now, but we became a lot closer this year" Jungkook answered with a tender smile.
"How good, Taehyung never brings anyone to the house. Expect Min Yoongi, of course" Mrs. Kim turned her head around when she heard more steps.
"Seojun, have you seen the key to my collection cupboard?" a tall, serious looking man entered the living room. "And who is this?" he asked eyeing Jungkook up and down.
"Dad, this is Jeon Jungkook. A friend from school"
Jungkook bowed down and introduced himself once more.
"Hm. How are your grades, son?" The man had a serious tone and expression but didn't sound mean.
"Dad, Jungkook is a straight A student" Taehyung chuckled. "He sings for the school as well. He's one of the best singers we have" Taehyung blushed and looked at the ravenette proudly.
"That's very good, a lot of young teenagers seem to have lost the taste for music and for art nowadays"
"Not me, sir. I play guitar and piano as well" Jungkook nodded his head making Taehyung and his mother smile.
"Very well, son. Now Seojun, my key?" The man looked at his wife with a cocked eyebrow.
"Oh yes, dear. I think I saw it in your office by the encyclopedia you always keep next to your computer" Mr. Kim nodded and bid goodbye to Jungkook before excusing himself to his office.
"Why don't you two go upstairs and I can make you some snacks" Mrs. Kim kindly offered.
"Thanks, mom-"
"I'd love to but I actually have to get back home" Jungkook apologized to Mrs. Kim.
"You're leaving?" Taehyung who was already a few steps on the stairs walked back down.
"Yes, I was only driving Taehyung back home. It was lovely meeting you, Mrs. Kim" The ravenette bowed and turned around before Taehyung could even say anything.
Mrs. Kim looked at Taehyung before walking away. The boy was now alone in his living room, what had just happened? He decided to go upstairs and try to work on something but he couldn't stop thinking about Jungkook. Was he mad because he introduced him as a friend? Could it really be?
"No way..." The brunette was laying on his bed, throwing a ball in the air. He had spent all day waiting to see if Jungkook would text him but nothing came. He wondered if he should text him instead but he didn't feel like he had done anything wrong.
