Taehyung grabbed his backpack and left his house. He got into his car and blasted some music on his way to class. He parked his car and turned off the music but grabbed his cellphone and earplugs. When his phone turned on he saw his conversation with Jungkook last night.
<Jungkook>
Jungkook: You just might like it, Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynnyrd
Me: I'll get back to you on that
The brunette smiled and tucked his phone away, he had forgotten to answer Jungkook after having fallen asleep listening to some more classics. Opening his door, he got out of the car and played Toto's Africa as he made his way to his shared class with the handsome boy.
"Hey, there" Taehyung pulled up his chair and sat down next to his friend.
"I think this is the first time I got here before you" Jungkook smiled and took out his notebook and pens.
"I left late this morning. So, how's everything? I'm sorry if I didn't answer you yesterday, I fell asleep" Taehyung smiled his box smile which the younger found cute.
"It's alright, you were also sleeping at my place. Is everything okay?" Jungkook took out his pen and wrote in his notebook a few things the teacher had begun to write on the board.
"It's weird, even if I sleep ten hours a day I'm always tired the next day. It sucks..." Taehyung bit his cheek and started taking notes as well.
"Have you tried taking pills or something?"
"I don't want to, I'm afraid I'll get used to it and think I can't sleep without them"
"And you'd rather not sleep at all" Jungkook quirked and eyebrow and looked at his friend.
"That's right" the brunette smiled making the other chuckle before turning their attention back on the class.
"You're coming over today again, right?" Jungkook whispered.
"Yeah" Taehyung laughed and nodded his head.
He had been going to the other's house almost everyday after school. They'd do their homework together and just hang out in Jungkook's apartment. The elder had asked him to teach him how to play guitar correctly and so far it had been really hard which explained why he had wanted to give up a hundred times already. Only Jungkook's endless patience and sweet personality had been able to get him to push through and make a few more efforts.
"Remember to apply pressure with your fingers but not too much pressure" Jungkook wrapped his hand around Taehyung's, trying to show the correct amount of pressure to apply on the chords.
"I hate this" The elder whined. "It's too hard and my fingers hurt" he threw his head back who landed on the couch.
"Tae" Jungkook chuckled and moved himself to rest his back on the couch. The two boys were sitting on the floor between the coffee table and the couch with the guitar flung to Taehyung's side. "Come on, it takes time to understand how to position your fingers and how to use them but it gets better after, you'll see"
"I don't want to see, I'm over this" Taehyung pouted and looked at Jungkook who shrugged.
"You'll never get to play any Scorpion songs on the guitar then" he said as he side eyed his friend.
"That's okay, I can just have you play them" the brunette smiled and laid his head in the crook of Jungkook's neck.
"Whatever" He rolled his eyes but smiled, nonetheless.
"I'm hungry. Got anything to eat? I can go buy something?" Taehyung opened his eyes and removed his head.
"Let's just go downstairs, the chef is so nice. She always gives me food" Jungkook showed his bunny smile which made Taehyung blush.
"You're so cute when you smile like that, like a bunny" He pinched the younger's cheeks and laughed before getting up and helping him up as well. "Come on, let's get some food"
The two boys walked downstairs and quietly made their way to the kitchen. Taehyung waited for Jungkook at the entrance of the kitchen until he came back with two plates filled with food. His stomach grumbled at the sight making them both laugh and dash back upstairs where they ate while watching a series on Netflix.
