"So, how is it going so far with the song you have to perform for the school assembly?" Taehyung was sitting in between Jungkook's legs with his back resting on his chest.
"I don't know, I have the harmony but I'm having a hard time with the lyrics" The younger pouted and kissed the brunette's head.
"I can help you if you want. Let me hear what you've got so far" Taehyung sat up straight and looked at the other who pouted.
"I didn't want you to move"
"Come on, show me" He giggled and handed his boyfriend the guitar. Jungkook played and hummed along. The guitar sounded soft and yearning but the melody the younger kept on humming gave it a touch of fierce energy.
"I think you need to have lyrics that give the song hope and strength. Here play it again so I can record it and think of something"
The younger nodded and played again while Taehyung recorded it on his phone. Once he was done, the brunette plugged in his earphones and took out his notebook and started scribbling down. Jungkook watched him with an amused smile, the elder looked insanely cute when focused. Even though he had hoped to keep on cuddling with him for the rest of the day, he got started on some homework in order to let his boyfriend work.
After an hour or so, Jungkook felt his earphone being gently taken out of his ear. Looking to his right, Taehyung handed him a notebook before getting up and going to his "kitchen"
"Tell me what you think. But, keep in mind this is just the first draft" He yelled.
"I'm sure it's fine" Jungkook answered and took a look at the lyrics.
"Well?" Taehyung sat down but he wasn't done yet. He waited for the younger to put down the notebook before asking again.
"I like it, it's really good. I'll have to try it with the melody and maybe change a few words but so far this is really helpful" Jungkook saw Taehyung smile big and gently pecked his cheek. "I knew having you as my boyfriend would be helpful"
"Excuse me??" The brunette playfully removed the boy and cocked an eyebrow. "You're so lucky you're cute" He said before leaning forward to capture the other's lips in his.
"What were you listening to?" Taehyung asked as he picked up Jungkook's phone.
"The same playlist I usually listen to when I want to concentrate or work on something" The boy smiled and got up to go grab something in his bedroom.
"What song was playing now then?"
"Toto- Hold the line" The boy yelled.
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrow, another song that featured on his online playlist.
"I love that we have the same taste in music, we were made for each other" The brunette gathered the younger on his lap and kissed his neck. He felt the boy squirm and tried to keep him in place. "Stop moving"
"I can't, it tickles" Jungkook giggled and held on to Taehyung in order not to fall.
"I could stay like this forever" The elder stopped but kept his face in the crook of the ravenette's neck.
"Now this I'm fine with" Jungkook smiled and his hand went to play with his brown locks.
"So, are we telling people?" Taehyung asked.
"Well I'm not going to pretend there's nothing going on if that's an answer"
"Awesome, that means I can tell Yoongi!"
Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle and find the boy absolutely adorable when he saw him smile a boxy smile. Eventually, Jungkook got off after he managed to convince his boyfriend to go out for a walk around the park and then out for some food.
Taehyung reluctantly put on his shoes and grabbed his phone before locking hands with Jungkook and leaving the small loft above the restaurant.
