Taehyung closed his locker and bopped his head to Police's So lonely as he walked towards the cafeteria for lunch.
He dragged his feet, not paying much attention to what or who was surrounding him. He waved to a few students he knew along the way and walked down the stairs. Just as he was about to turn around the corner he was met with a boy and three girls.
"Yes?" He looked them all and cocked an eyebrow, what did they want?
"Are you and Jungkook an item??" One of the girls asked in a rather harsh tone.
"As if that was any of your business. Anything else I can help you with?"
"Don't play it like that, Kim Taehyung. You think you're somebody now that you hang out with him? You're nothing" She spat and smirked but Taehyung didn't react.
"You're a nobody and Jeon Jungkook is way out of your league so I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you" Another one added.
"I'll keep all of this in mind, girls. Now get out of my way" The boy was getting fed up with the stupid comments and wanted to leave before this got out of control.
"Jungkook's not even gay, unlike you, fag" The boy took a step closer to Taehyung which he used to grab him and pull him closer to him.
"Well he sure as hell kisses like one, now get out of my way" Taehyung threw him back and the boy lost his balance.
"Let's just go" The blonde girl rolled her eyes and walked away followed by her little squad.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, played his music again and started walking. It pissed him off how people would insert themselves in other people's personal lives. Why did it matter who Jungkook was dating or if it was a boy?
When he got to the cafeteria, he saw a tall ravenette waiting for him at the entrance. He smiled and went up to him, Jungkook grabbed his hands and pecked his lips.
"Hey there, I thought you weren't going to come for lunch when I didn't see you here" He said and opened the doors for them.
"Sorry, I got ambushed on the way over" Taehyung chuckled but wondered if he should tell him about the girls.
"Everything alright?" Jungkook saw the brunette flinch and stop for a moment. He waited to see if he would say anything but he only smiled and nodded his head. "Okay then"
"Are we still on for date night tomorrow?" Taehyung asked.
"Sure, I finish my shift at seven and after that I'm all yours" Jungkook held the other's hand in his and swayed them side to side.
"I can't believe you have to work on a Frida,y after school. That's harsh" Taehyung chuckled and looked at their hands fondly.
"It's not like I have a choice, but I don't mind" The ravenette could see a flicker of pity flash through his boyfriend's eyes and tried to wash it away by capturing his lips between his. His eyes closed as well as Taehyung's as their lips danced with each other.
"Not fair" The elder pouted.
"What?"
"You can't kiss me to distract me" He said still pouting.
"Except I can, and I just did"
"Jeon Jungkook, you're such a brat" Taehyung giggled and kissed his boyfriend's lips before leaning backwards in his seat. He saw Jungkook smile and start eating and looked around, there were still a lot of stares including the squad that had ambushed him in the corridor.
When lunch ended, he bid goodbye to his boyfriend and joined Yoongi in their science class. The blonde was surprisingly early which Taehyung didn't fail to notice.
"What are you doing here?" He sat down next to his friend.
"I got into a fight with Hoseok" He muttered; his head buried in his arms who were crossed on the desk.
"Oh? What happened?" The brunette lowered the volume from his music and laid his head between his arms as well.
"It was stupid, he's been hanging out a lot with this other boy, Namjoon? And I sort of got jealous I guess"
"Well this isn't the first time you've gotten jealous so I'm sure he'll forgive you just like always" Taehyung closed his eyes, feeling tired.
"Yeah, I guess" Yoongi saw his friend close his eyes and sighed.
The teacher got in not long after and the class started. Taehyung stayed with Yoongi for the rest of the day and got home with him as well.
