Looking up at the building in awe, y/n's teal eyes scanned the area, the thumping in her heart echoed in her ears as she looked beyond the concrete and fallen feathers. In front of her stood a opportunity that she couldn't take for granted, she would start from the rubble and as her journey futhered she would build from the fragments of the past and open a book of new stories.

But first, y/n had to actually convince the people of volleyball to let her coach them. She knew how uptight people where when someone vocalises their dreams and aspires, she knew first hand. So that is why she has receipts, she had bars to spit, man she even made flash cards to mentally and physically prepare to prove these people wrong.

Ever since that day with her older brother, Sae Itoshi, and how he discarded both she and Rin as his siblings, she had the urge to prove him wrong. Y/n wanted him to face the consequences of his actions as he lost something important. Her trust.

The words that he spoke to her that day will forever remain in her mind, it was like a broken record that would have an unstoppable effect upon her. Not only his words, but his actions. She lost something precious to her that day, and the fact that he brushed it off as if it had the smallest effect, had a tremendous impact on her love towards him.

She wasn't sure about Rin, but no matter what happened that day, she couldn't help but still love her brother unconditionally. Although her heart aches over the harshness and brutal person he's became, she knew that somewhere, her caring brother was still residing in his heart.

And as much as she would want to embrace and accept for what he is, and if he ever does come to term and apologise for what he's done, she simply couldn't forgive him easily as what he did was truly unforgivable.

When their brother left them in the snowy pitch, Rin and y/n's hearts were met with the numbing agony as the snow fell down upon them. They knew from the first glance they had at their brother, he had changed.

His once so bright eyes never shined the way they used too when he was the once expressing his gratitude and passion to the sport and the goal he and Rin were working towards. Y/n, not even Rin knew what happened for his sudden drift in direction, what new blow of wind propelled him too, but they knew that he was... different now, and they couldn't change that.

She wished that she knew why he changed, she really did, but he's gone awol with little to no chance what contacting. She so badly wanted to speak to him, to reach within Sae to find the once so charismatic boy who stood in the airport, awaiting Spain for the sun and adventure. Oh the contrast.

So now, y/n wanted to prove her brother wrong, to show that she does have potential in leading Japan to victory in a sport that isn't football. She wants to have the glory in knowing that she turned the tables, and that she was the one who was standing on the main stage at the end.

So here she was, at Karasuno, known for being the flightless crows and fallen rivals. She did research before coming to this school, and she gathered how they had only achieved to go to nationals once. Well that was more then some other schools in the miyagi prefecture, so there was some achievement.

But ever since then, they'd taken a tumble. They were the fallen powerhouse, behind them stood canvases of glory and triumph, but now with in front of them was a blank canvas, a white space with no colour, no inspirations, no markings. She wished to be the painter to change that.

She wanted to make the colour. She wanted to cascade the canvas with vibrant, erupt colours that people couldn't take their eyes of it, they would be breathless, they would demand for more. That's what she wanted.

So, now walking around karasuno, her heart burned with the desire to unlock everyone's full potential. Her posture stood tall, her long hair swished due to the propelling wind. Her teal eyes were narrowed into a slit as she absorbed in the new atmosphere.
