A stunned silence sung through the gym as all eyes were on the first year girl, the one who declared to be their coach, the one who's been recognised by many popular figures, as she and their to be setter had pulled of an attack so advance that it was almost unbelievable to the naked eye.

She looked as though it was the most easiest thing to approach, and then follow through on. They watched how she'd gone up to Kageyama and persuaded him to set to her, declaring and finalising her confidence, to which she followed through on.

Y/n's face was nonchalant as she said her words to Kageyama, whereas he had a look on his face as if either she had or he would declare their love for one another. Their fingers tingled with adrenaline as sweat painted their foreheads delicately, which was now glistening in the sunlight.

A brief moment of silence drifted by, then there was an erupted applause. Y/n stood stiffly for a second as her eyes darted around. She felt her cheeks redden up, as she feigned to wipe her sweat away, when in reality she hid her face.

The opposing team were flabbergasted. Standing as stiff as boards on the other side, they never had any time to comprehend the attack that they'd managed to pull off. It was something that seemed to be impossible, something only chosen ones could have the capability to complete.

The gym was echoing everyone's cheers and overwhelming shock of the attack. The girl had waddled over to Kageyama and gave him another thumbs up, slightly trembling as her eyes stayed on him.

He returned a shaking thumbs up on his own as he struggled to form a sentence. "T-that was... damn," was all he managed to get out as he blushed deeply, becoming absorbed in her pinning gaze.

As the two stared at one another, Hinata ran towards the girl as he placed both his hands on her shoulders and pulled himself up, balancing on her. "YOU ARE AMAZING Y/N! TEACH ME! TEACH ME!" He chanted over and over again, eyes brimming with a yearning desire.

His fingertips burned her skin like electricity, a tickling sensation sizzled through her. Slightly tilting her head back, she was met with the bright smile of Hinata Shoyo. He was like the sun, always shining bright and covering the sky with its beams, letting it carefully cascade and hug other people's faces.

Y/n's eyes grew larger as she watched him, flickers of another being replacing him for a moment or two. A tinge of guilt swelled in her heart, before an even brighter picture apeared. Unknowingly, her lips tilted up, a smile grew on her face while she was fondly gazing at him.

She saw Hinata. As the picture faded, she came to the realisation that staying hung onto the past, comparing and contrasting others to fragments that were left behind was doing no good for her. It's okay to reminisce and find similarities, but it's never okay to build bonds due to the resemblance of others.

His bright smile will always remind her of Rin in the past, a sight that may never be recreated. Cherishing it for a moment, she realised that it's okay to let things go. He's still with her, and hopefully his smile will bloom brighter as the sun and rain collided.

She saw Hinata for his smile.

Nodding, her eyes closed as she spoke to with such silk others were cushioned. "When im coach, I'll teach you everything you want to know, so count on us to win." She spoke with such certainty, it was impossible to disagree.

Before, Hinata would've blushed and became bashful at the sight in front of him. But now, he was basking in her presence, not wanting to hide himself away from her smile, not wanting to cover his ears so he could hear her angelic voice.

He was beginning to like everything about her.

When they first met, he truly was intimidating by her appearance, finding her strikingly beautiful. But now knowing her, he found her soul more beautiful than anything. Although he can't say much, watching her actions while standing up for him, that was enough to tell him how much of a caring person she is.
