The tournament finally commenced, all the teams cheer squad from the stands (bar Karasuno) were banging their paper horns and plastic bottles, fighting to give their team the most support they can give against the opposing cheer squad.

The captains from each volleyball team shook hands with the refs, showing their respect, and in turn shaking one another's, followed by the remainder of the teams.

Whistles cheered arounds the gymnasium, the Karasuno match just around the corner as the team surrounded the two coaches, the adviser and manager, faces filled with apprehension and anticipation.

Y/n had her arms crossed, her lips decorated in a light frown as her eyes seemed at a faded distance, nudging her head towards Ukai, urging him to speak in place of her. For a moment, everyone stared at her, but their attention was short-spanned as Ukai cleared his throat very vocally.

Ukai had his arms straight, looking at the team sternly. "Listen up. This is everyone's first match. Everyone's nervous, everyone's anxious, everyone's not their usual selves. But you have to overcome those things before they do. Score a big victory first, and find you grove."

As the players replied in unison, Takeda begun speaking. " I mean what I'm going to say, and it's not empty compliment. You are all strong. Karasuno is strong. Let's show everyone in the gym that we crows can fly."

That very much seemed to motivate the pack of wild crows, as the wildest of them all had his fists clenched in front of him, his face beaming. "Take-chan, good one!" Tanaka followed after his best friend, his arms crossed. "They say that inauspicious line everywhere we go."

"'Fallen champions. Wingless crows.' But let's show them, "Behold, we are champions of old. This is the revival of Karasuno!"" Accidently getting too caught up in the moment, Takeda's brown hues widened as he jumped back a tad, blushing madly all embarrassed. "Was that too poetic? Are you creeped out?"

As the team begun chattering once reassuring Takeda that it was all good, Y/n took a moment to gaze around the massive gymnasium, absorbing it's atmosphere and the volume it hold, not just talking about people, but the anxieties, fears and dreams as well.

Her teal eyes were dashing with those emotions. She never truly let herself absorb where she was now, the weight that laid daringly over her shoulders as sounds of balls smacking and refs whistling came chirping into her ears like an owl on a full moon.

She was conscious of every breath she took, every step she made, every smell she accustomed too. She was now, truly, apart of this gymnasium, her heart thumping through her chest as she closed her eyes, taking a breath in, and out.

"Alright everyone." All of the team turned to look at the girl who looked hauntingly calm, somewhat feeding off of her ease and felt themselves become one with themselves. "This is it. Are we all ready to show them what we've got?"

The boys took a moment, glancing at one another, before nodding strongly at their coach, yelling, "Yes Coach!" She let herself relax, her shoulders sagging as she felt a hand press on her shoulder.

Turning to the side, she saw Ukai looking down at her, nodding encouragingly as the rest of the team gathered around in a circle, doing their own team talk and cheer. Her teal eye's were sharp and precise as she turned towards the other team.

However as she did so, she noticed that their coaches were already staring at them, more-so her. Their eye's burrowed deep in her core, attempting to unleash her her total and utter lack of confidence in herself to lead this team to victory.

But, in the end, she did manage to train these players, who now have the confidence in themselves to go up against these teams and have the belief that they could win. Whereas the opposing team looked like they just wanted this to be over with already.
