As the day's flew by, the preliminaries drew closer and closer, causing the flock of crows to become more hypervigilant, as they became aware of what they'd need to do if they ever want to go up against Nekoma in an official match and win.

They'd need to win up against the many powerhouses that are within Miyagi. Shiratorizawa, Aoba Johsai, Wakutani, all those teams have been the main challengers. So in order to go to nationals, Karasuno must declare victory over them all.

Y/n stood beside Ukai, who was currently yawning with tears building up around his eyes and a fatigued expression on his face. She had her coach zipper all the way up, her teal eyes shooting up to him.

"You alright? You seem more exhausted than usual." Y/n's voice showed slight concern, quietly observing his every move. Takeda approached the two, nodding in agreement.

Ukai placed his hands in his jacked as he stared down at the teal eyed girl. "Yeah, I've been working at the store exclusively 'til now, but now I'm working on the farm as well, so I can leave work at the store early in the evening. Just because it's out family business, I can't be flexible all the time though."

Takeda then swiftly bowed in gratitude, whereas Y/n just stood there with her eyes closed. "Thank you very much! I'll bring you sake the next time I visit!" Ukai then got really excited, a certain sparkle coming in his eyes. "Seriously!"

"Alcoholic." Y/n stated blandly, clapping her hands as she ignored the older man and turned to her team. "Alright, let's wrap it up!" "Yes Coach!"

As everyone responded, Y/n looked around at all the players, until her eyes paused upon the quiet, and somewhat gloomy Yamaguchi, as he stared at the other first years with slight remorse.

Y/n had her hands in her pockets, feeling a sliver of sympathy and understanding towards the star kissed boy, the look on his face panging in her chest uncomfortably.

She sighed as she begun to strive towards him, her head tucking deeper into her zipper, till only her eyes were visible. The boy continued to stare out into space, till he felt a hand on his shoulder, snapping him back into his cruel reality.

He looked to the side, meeting the eye's of Y/n who stared blankly at him. His eye's widened ever so slightly, his mouth agar as the warmth of the girl's hand delicately moulded into his shoulder perfectly.

"Come with me." She said simply, patting his shoulder as she turned her back to him, expecting him to follow her. He looked at her, shocked but, his heart had a mind of it's own as he begun to follow behind her.

She approached Ukai, who was going over the different positions they had for the matches, and cleared her throat, gaining his attention. "Ukai, do you have the number of the guy who was preforming the float serve at the match between the neighbourhood association?"

Yamaguchi turned to her, surprised, but she never batted an eye at him, only watching as Ukai raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, but why kiddo?"

She walked over to her back full of school materials and swung it over her shoulder, "tell him that the coach and one of her players are going to visit him tonight," she said blandly, before walking past and patting Yamaguchi once more on the shoulder, urging him to follow her.

Yamaguchi hurried after her, grabbing his bag, still confused about what this was all about. As they reached outside, the green haired boy quickly got his own school materials and went to walk beside her into the starry sky.

They walked in silence for a few moments, before the girl begun to speak. "You feel like you're being left behind, right?" Her words felt like a sharp blade against his chest, as he took a swift breath in, not going unnoticed by the h/c girl.
