{AN: Obviously we know that Crowley wasn't his name as an Angel, for this story I will be using the name Asaph for Angel Crowleys chapters, I hope this doesn't get too confusing :)}
Asaph sighed as she looked down at the large piece of paper she had in hand.
Of course all of the other Angels were too busy to help them out with this task. It didn't even matter what their ranking was, they just needed someone to hold the paper steady. Asaph looked around in hopes that someone would appear soon. Perhaps her hopeful wishing did work out for them, she spotted a blip of light flying around and waved it over.
"Hey! Hey, over here! Hello!" They waved, watching the light float around for a few more moments before pausing next to them. With a quick flash the light was gone and in its place stood a very nice looking Angel with white hair and bright blue eyes.
"Well hello there!" He gave a little wave as he settled down. Asaph grabbed the paper he had with him and moved it over towards the Angel.
"Do you mind helping me with something? I need someone to hold the paper while I crank it." He explained, holding up the crank he had in their hand. The Angel gave a quick nod and held the paper firmly while Asaph connected the crank to it. The other Angel looked slightly nervous as he watched, though a smile stayed on his face.
"My name is Aziraphale." He said happily, mainly in hopes to start up a conversation.
"Lovely meeting you, you can put it down now." Asaph turned away from the paper and held out her hands, taking a deep breath before speaking.
"Let there be matter, let there be gravity, let there be everything from page 11 to 3,000,206." She watched the pitch darkness, hoping for something to happen, only being highly confused when nothing changed.
"I think you forgot something." Aziraphale muttered to Asaph, scanning the area around them
"Oh right, I forgot." Asaph chuckled, rolling her eyes at her own mistake, "Let there be light."
And so there was, stars appeared and exploded, nebulas formed together and expanded, celestial bodies streamed in from what seemed to be nothing and filled up the space with bright colors. Asaph widened his eyes and grinned, making happy squeaking noises as he watched. It was certainly a sight to behold, Asaph was very proud of what they had just created.
"You're absolutely beautiful." He muttered under his breath, which Aziraphale seemed to have caught but didn't say anything.
"So, did you design this all by yourself?" Aziraphale asked, looking over at Asaph.
"Well, I mean I took some ideas from another Angel but for the most part it was all me." Asaph boasted, clearly very excited to have made something big for once.
"Ah, well I heard they're planning on putting a place called 'Earth' just right over there." Aziraphale pointed towards the far edge of the Nebula Asaph had just created. "And they're going to have something called 'people' living on it, it's very interesting." Asaph looked offended as she looked at Aziraphale.
"Right over there? But they won't be able to see any of this from there!" He frowned, not very happy with the choice of placement. "Why not put it in the center of everything?"
"I'm not sure but it's best not to question the Lord." Aziraphale shrugged, returning his gaze to Asaph.
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I slipped something into the suggestion box, I mean, this isn't all just some fancy wall paper I've just created!" Asaph crossed their arms, taking in a very good look at everything.
"You know, I don't think the Lord does have a suggestion box, I think that would defeat the purpose of the great plan." Aziraphale offered, slightly taken back at the suggestion box comment.
"Wouldn't you like to have a new point of view if you're going to be creating a bunch of stuff? Seriously, someone has to say something." Asaph was clearly not very happy with the news.
"I don't think the Lord wants us to question the great plan, and I don't want to see you getting punished for asking a few questions." Aziraphale frowned, looking back at the universe.
"How much trouble do you seriously think I could get in for asking a few questions? It's not like I'm telling the Lord what to do, I'm just pointing out something that could be fixed." Asaph shrugged, grabbing the paper back and neatly rolling it back up.
"Please just be careful, we don't know everything that the Lord has planned." Aziraphale looked down at his hands as he fidgeted with them.
"I'll be careful, don't even worry about it." She looked over at the other Angel and gave him a warm smile. "Maybe I'll convince the Lord to change the positioning of this 'Earth' so the 'people' can actually see everything I've created." Aziraphale looked back up and simply nodded, looking back out when he heard more stars exploding and getting created. Asaph moved one wing up to protect Aziraphale from the hurdling stars. Aziraphale shifted his body to be a bit closer to Asaph as the two Angels stood in silence, watching the nebula continue to expand and grow all by itself.
