Crowley tapped his foot impatiently as he waited outside.
What in the bloody hell was keeping Aziraphale? He had been waiting for 10 whole minutes for the Angel to come outside. Crowley groaned quietly, looking around the busy streets of Soho London. They were going to be late if Aziraphale didn't hurry the hell up.
Finally after what felt like centuries of waiting, the Angel hurried out the door, almost completely missing Crowley.
"Finally, there you are." Crowley grunted, grabbing the back of Aziraphales coat to keep him from accidentally rushing into the street.
"I'm sorry my dear for keeping you for so long, I was incredibly busy and lost track of time." Aziraphale brushed the back of his coat flat as he turned to look at Crowley. "I do hope we don't end up being too late."
"We won't be if we head over right now." Crowley grunted, walking over to his Bentley and getting in. Aziraphale followed suit, settling down in the seat.
"Where did you say this place was Crowley?" The Angel asked, excited to see where Crowley was taking him.
"Just on the outskirts of London, it's right next to a planetarium." Crowley started up the car and began driving down the road, although it was less driving and more swerving past other cars.
"A planetarium? Well perhaps we could visit after we eat!" Aziraphale brightened which made Crowley smile slightly. It didn't take long before the two were right outside the new restaurant that opened not that long ago. It was an old style restaurant, which Crowley thought Aziraphale might appreciate, and had very muted colors. The Angel and the Demon walked in side by side and sat at their table with a menu for each of them.
Naturally, Crowley ordered wine as he usually did while Aziraphale ordered whatever sounded good, which was almost everything. Crowley took light sips of his wine, occasionally looking over at Aziraphale for long periods of time while he ate. It was amusing seeing how much the Angel loved eating despite not needing to. He would even say that was his best temptation he had ever attempted, getting an Angel to eat. Although now that temptation seems to be putting a hole in his wallet since he always insisted on paying, which Aziraphale hates.
"I quite like this restaurant, the food is quite divine." Aziraphale commented, dabbing the corners of his mouth.
"You say that about every restaurant we visit angel." Crowley rolled his eyes, setting down his now empty glass of wine.
"Well it's true for every restaurant, humans are incredible at creating all sorts of food." Aziraphale hummed happily, setting down his fork. "Is there anything else you would like to order before we leave?" Crowley thought about that for a second, he had his own wine in his apartment he could drink once he was back. But for some reason the wine at this place was much better than any wine he had tasted so far.
"I could take one more glass of wine." He grinned, flicking his finger slightly so a waiter would head over to their table and get him another glass of wine.
"You know you can just ask politely, you don't have to miracle them over." Aziraphale sighed, watching the waiter hand Crowley a second glass of wine.
"Eh, it's easier this way." The Demon shrugged nonchalantly, nearly downing his wine in one gulp. "Ready to go angel?" Aziraphale nodded, getting the bill and paying before walking out of the restaurant. Crowley followed and the two walked into the planetarium to look around. It was often hard for Crowley to get a good view of the stars normally so he wondered if he could see them in a planetarium. It seemed like Aziraphale was enjoying himself, pointing out all the cool pictures of space they had on the walls. Crowley squinted at the pictures, wondering why there wasn't anything on them, ignoring the sense of dread that was building up inside of him.
Crowley shook his head and refocused on what Aziraphale was saying.
"Look Crowley! I think I remember you making this one." Aziraphale ran over to a huge interactive screen that Crowley assumed had something on it. He frowned when he spotted a name plate under it. 'Antennae Galaxy', yes he remembered creating that one along with some other Angel he never knew the name of. Although now that "other Angel" felt somewhat important. Who was that? He couldn't quite remember the face, continuing to stare at the screen. Aziraphale turned back towards Crowley, his face turning into more of a confused eye scrunch.
"Crowley? You look troubled." Aziraphale walked over to him and put a gentle hand on Crowleys shoulder.
"It's nothing angel... Do you remember who worked with me on this one?" Crowley asked, shifting his gaze to look at Aziraphale.
"I think it might have been... Ah, can't quite remember the name, they were also a Dominion* weren't they?" Aziraphale looked back at the screen as he tried to remember.
"Yes they were, I think the name started with a M.. M... Mi..."
"Micaiah?" Aziraphale asked suddenly as though it just came to him.
"Yes, Micaiah." Crowley narrowed his eyes at the name, Micaiah, Dominion Angel. He thought that Angel was his friend, but it was a lie. Micaiah had betrayed him in the great war, it all came back to him now. The more Crowley thought about that stupid Angel, the more angry he got. Aziraphale noticed and tried to distract him by pointing to something else. Crowley was sure his angel said something but he didn't hear it. He was too focused on his own rage.
On the edge of the battle, wounded and helpless, he thought Micaiah was coming to rescue him. Crowley bit down on his tongue, smoke starting to come out of his hands as he growled.
"Crowley? Crowley, you're smoking!" Aziraphale squeaked, trying to cover the smoke while also trying to move Crowley. The Demon wouldn't budge, he kept staring at the galaxy in front of him. He should have destroyed that Galaxy a long time ago.
It wouldn't hurt to try and make himself better, right? Crowley snarled as he flicked his hand towards the screen, watching it burst into thick flames. Aziraphale let out a screech of surprise and quickly put it out before it spread. To Crowleys satisfaction, the fire had completely melted the screen.
"Come on Crowley, we're going home." Aziraphale gripped Crowleys wrist with exceptional strength and pulled him out of the planetarium to the car. Crowleys head was only filled with the satisfaction of watching what he regretted burst into flames.
