Chapter 9

Gotham

Lady Gothams midnight tavern

Bella Alice and Rose POV

Bella stormed around her (well hers and Edward's but considering he never spent any time in it, it was more hers than his) room, still wearing the expensive almost see-through nightgown she had brought to surprise Edward with. Of course, the ass didn't appreciate the effort she had gone through for him to make sure they had the house to themselves for the whole night (something that was very rare), he also didn't appreciate the effort she had gone through to style her hair. Bella was positive that if Edward had appreciated her efforts then they would have been using the bed for what it was meant for but instead of having sex, they had found themselves in the same old argument they had many times in the past.

Bella was sick of it! She had needs, she had desires that needed to be met, and Edward wasn't doing anything to meet those desires! He always brushed her off. Picking a lamp up from the table Bella threw it against the wall with a scream before she sat down on her bed.

"Bella! Can I...I mean we come in?!" the voice of Alice asked through the door.

Edward must have called them saying they could come after he left me here.

"Yeah," Bella replied.

Bella watched as Alice and Rose walked into the room, pausing slightly when they saw the broken objects scattered about the room. Alice skipped over to the bed and sat down next to her.

"Let me guess Edward being an ass again?" Alice asked.

"Yes. Why won't he touch me! I mean look at me! It isn't as if I'm unattractive. I've tried speaking to him about what sexual acts he would like me to do on him, but he shuts me down, with the same old bullshit of 'we're not going to have children so we don't need to have sex Bella,' funny how he was more than happy to have sex with me on our wedding night and honeymoon." Bella replied.

"Edward doesn't understand that sex can be for pleasure," Alice said as she patted Bella's hand before she added; "Which is why we're here."

"What do you mean?"

"We are going out and we're going to find you some nice human man you can hook up with for the night."

"Excuse me!"

"Oh please! don't act like you never thought about it, and you wouldn't be the first one who did it."

Bella blinked at this before she turned to Rose and asked

"What?"

"Alice did it and I've done it" Rose replied before flipping back through a magazine.

"Rose is right. Though that was back in the 'early' stages of our relationship when we did it because our men wanted to wait until we were married, totally ignoring the fact that we had sexual needs that needed meeting."

Oh. that did make sense. WAIT!... Maybe if Edward sees another man pleasing her in her mind, it will kick his ass into gear and he'll finally take her.

"So where are we going?" she asked.

"Some club they call 'Lady Gotham's Midnight Tavern.'" Alice replied before she handed her a bag and said; "Now put this on so we can go!"

Bella quickly ran to the bathroom and changed into a short black dress with a slight V neck, she then slipped on black high heels, before she quickly styled her hair and put on some red lipstick. Stepping back she admired herself in the mirror and smiled to herself. She was sure she could easily find herself a man for the night with the way she looked. Turning around she walked out of the bathroom.
