NOVEMBER 5, 1966

ANOTHER RAGER AT BUCK'S TO START OFF NOVEMBER. It was an early birthday weekend for Dallas whose birthday was not for another four days where he was going to become a legal adult, just not one who could buy himself drinks despite working at a bar that served him all the alcohol he could get.

Felicity promised him that she'd stop by for him as the entire gang hung around Buck's. Johnny and Ponyboy were practically chaperoned by Darry who never took his eyes off of them, even with a beer in his hand that multiplied after another.

Felicity arrived in a loose white blouse tucked into her multi-colored checkered skirt, her brown Mary Janes added clothing for her feet along with the white socks that reached past her ankles a little. It was out of the ordinary for Felicity but she did want to look good for Dallas, especially on his birthday weekend.

Some eyes turned to Felicity as she entered the bar that was humid. While eyes were on her, her eyes searched high and low for Dallas who was by the pool table with Steve and Sodapop along with some from Shepherd's gang, Boller was in attendance too. Felicity catches Dallas by the table where he makes eye contact with her, stunned by her outfit.

"You gon' hit or what, Dal." Boller pushed him out of his gaze.

Dallas stood up straight and got in his face, "Touch me one more time and you'll be seeing the inside of the wall."

"Happy birthday, Dally." Felicity comes in, handing out a wrapped box for him.

"Fiz, meet Boller." Dallas introduces her to him, bring Boller in for a headlock. "Sometimes when he opens his mouth, he just wishes to get killed."

"Damn you, you son of a bitch." Boller grumbled in his arm.

Dallas lets go of him and lends Curly Shepherd the pool stick. Felicity and Dallas walk away with the box in Dallas hand, they approach the bar where Dallas began opening the box.

He felt shocked to see a watch sit inside. His eyes studied the brown leather straps, the cold glass that protected the arms of the time. Dallas didn't even know that he needed a watch but he loved how it looked, adding taste to his plain wrist.

Felicity stared at him but with a smile, waiting to find his approval in which there was. Dallas looked at Felicity who did not see a smile on his face.

"It was a little pricey at the pawnshop but I still made it work, I knew how you were always looking at no time every time we hung out." Felicity shrugged. "I hope you like it though."

"Are you kidding me, I love this thing." Dallas scoffed.

Felicity takes the watch and wraps it around his wrist for him, connecting the clasp to stay in place. Their lips connect for a second before Felicity brought him outside.

It was the time where she was going to finally ask him what they were.

Her thumbs twiddled when she stood in front of him, "Dally, I need to talk to you."

"About what?" His tone sounded curious, it followed with a little angst.

"I wanted to know," she cleared her throat, "what are we?"

"I mean we're friends, friends who touch each other." He smirked while poking at her stomach.

Felicity shifted away from his touch, "I'm being serious, Dally."

"Friends don't kiss each other like it's a casual things, not mention that friends don't touch each other the way you did with me."

"Well what, what did you want us to be? I can't read minds, Felicity." Dallas replied.
