NOVEMBER 12, 1966FELICITY HAD TAKEN THE DAY OFF OF WORK TO GO OUT WITH DALLAS ALL DAY IN THE NICE NOVEMBER WEATHER. Dean and Aubrey were doubtful of the new relationship but have never seen Felicity smile so much, their concerns were dismissed.
Felicity and Dallas going out all day as in driving around Tulsa to torment their friends; Sodapop and Steve at the DX, Ponyboy and Johnny at the lot, and Two-bit at his own home. It was mostly Dallas who was bothering all of them the most while Felicity was friendly with almost all of them, besides Two-bit who kept picking at her for the hickeys that were poorly covered up.
On the road, Dallas took an old route that was surrounded by trees and looked abandoned. Felicity stared out the window in confusion that lingered in her eyes, she sat up from her spot on the passenger side.
Her head turned to him, "Dally, where are we going?"
"It's quite nice out, don't you think?"
"Dally."
"A little spot nobody knows about, it'll be fun, trust me."
The T-bird drove upwards onto a hill that showed nothing but the orange sky. Felicity's eyes lit up when she noticed the large sun, she had never been this close to the sky before.
Dallas parked the car in the middle of nowhere, getting out to go over to Felicity's side of the car. She stepped out to look at the sky did not even feel real to her. He takes her hand, bringing them over to the front of the car where they sat next to each other on the metallic surface. Felicity brought her knees up to her chest while Dallas laid back to examine the colors of the sky.
The gush of wind blew through Felicity's blonde hair, using her fingers to push away the strands that got in her face. Dallas had one leg on top of the other to get comfortable in his spot.
"Pony was always rambling about sunsets, I had to go see what he was babbling about for myself." Dallas explained. "Do you like it?"
"It's just so beautiful." Felicity complimented without taking her eyes off.
Dallas sat up and placed his hand against her back, "What's on your mind?"
"Everything, I guess. There's just so much to even begin with."
"You can start with what you see." Dallas suggested.
"I see myself with a family, my own family. One day I just want to pick my things and get out of this place, start a new life where I work to get my own house." She imagined. "A farmhouse on the hill with an open field so my kids could go run around and be kids."
Dallas didn't see himself with kids the way she did but he didn't want to oppose.
"Where do you want to move?"
"Maybe Maine, it's quite nice there from the brochures I looked at when working." Felicity pictured.
"Do you see yourself with someone?" Dallas asked again, in hopes his name was in mind.
"Yeah," she looked over at him, "Guy Madison."
He rolled his eyes, gently shoving her which makes her lose her position. Felicity laughed at his reaction that tried to disguise his jealousy. She wouldn't trade Dallas for Guy Madison, even if the Guy Madison himself asked Felicity out.
"But I really do want to become a mom one day, you know." He didn't.
"You'd be a good mother, Fiz." Dallas commented.
