Part 13

Midnight,
Scene starts on a train,
Divya was sitting teary eyed in the compartment and everyone was sleeping. Even Rajveer was sleeping on her shoulder due to the tiredness of the whole day's workload and journey.

Divya leaned aside and took a small glimpse of the person sitting just two seats ahead only to see Palki still awake. When Divya and Rajveer boarded the train in order to prevent the attack of the village people.....the first thing that Divya saw was Palki.....sitting with tears cascading down her cheeks. Even though Rajveer didn't see Palki but still....for the first time ever in life....Divya feared to lose someone who didn't belong to his family but now was her only family and her whole world.

Divya looked at Rajveer's innocent face teary eyed.
Divya lied down Rajveer in her lap and caressed his hair teary eyed.
Divya(teary eyed)(in mind): Agar tu ne Palki ko dekh liya.....aur agar Palki teri life mein waapis aa gayi toh tu waapis se andhere mein chala jaaega Rajveer. Mujhe bohot darr lag raha hain Rajveer.....main kya karu? Kaise...(tears cascading down her cheeks).....sambhalu tujhe? Kaise bachaun tujhe waapis tootne se? Kaise bachaun?
A tear fell down on Rajveer's cheek and he slowly opened his eyes.
Rajveer: Divya.....tu ro kyun rahi hain? Kya hua?
Divya(wiping her tears): Nahi kuch nahi....vo bas....bauji ki yaad aa rahi thi. Tu uth kyun gaya? So jaa...
Rajveer: Bas aise hi achanak se neend khul gayi. Tujhe pata hain...maine na...(frowning)...ek ajeeb sa sapna dekha. 
Divya: Kya sapna dekha?
Rajveer: Ek andhera kamra tha....usmein na.....tu aur main khade the....aur na peeche se do log aaye....ek ladka tha aur shayad ek ladki thi aur unn dono ne...
Divya(teary eyed): Hum dono ko alag kar diya na?
Rajveer: Tujhe kaise pata?
Divya(teary eyed)(with a slight smile): Bas aise hi laga.....arrey aise sapne toh aate hi rehte hain. Tu ek kaam kar...so jaa.....
Rajveer: Haan....wahi karta hoon. Waise...tu kya aaj poori raat jaagegi?
Divya: Nahi...main bas aayi....washroom se.
Rajveer: Theek hain...
Divya stood up wiping her tears and then came to the place where Palki was sitting. Palki looked up but before she could speak....Divya dragged her towards the washroom.
Scene shifts outside the washroom,
Palki(teary eyed): Kya kar rahi ho Divya?
Divya: Tum kya kar rahi ho? Waapis se Rajveer ki life mein ghum fir kar kyun waapis aa jati ho tum? Chahti kya ho? Rajveer ko barbaad karke chaen nahi mila? Ab aur kya bacha hain cheen ne ke liye?
Palki: Mujhe....(not making eyecontact)....pata nahi tha ki tum dono bhi yahi aane waali ho.
Divya: Accha? Waise tum jaa kaha rahi ho? Aur vo bhi train se? Yeh accha hain. Pehle Luthras se unka sab kuch cheeno aur uske baad.....yeh dikhawa karo publicity paane ke liye.
Palki: Dekho....tum galat samajh rahi ho.
Divya: Main kuch galat nahi samajh rahi hoon Palki....aur na hi mujhe tumse bahes karne ka koi shauk hain. Tum bas itna samajh lo ki Rajveer ko main dard mein nahi dekh sakti aur agar tumhari wajah se uski aankhon mein ansoon ka ek katra bhi aaya na.....toh main tumhari jaan le loongi.
"Kya lagti ho tum uski? Kyun uski itni parwah....."
Divya turned towards Palki glaring at her.
Divya: Biwi hoon main uski.....
A tear cascaded down Palki's cheek.
Divya: Saat phere liye hain hum dono ne ek saath aur ek biwi aur bestfriend hone ke naate yeh mera waada hain tumse Palki....ki main apne pati ko harr dukh se bachaungi.....khaas kar....(pointing at Palki)...tum jaisi ladki se.
Saying this Divya left.
Meanwhile Palki just stood there frozen. Though she never loved Rajveer but still the news of Rajveer married to someone shattered her and even she didn't knew why.

She went inside the washroom and broke down into tears.

Next morning,
Scene starts in Bhoominagar,
Mohit was sleeping peacefully on the bed when suddenly felt someone tickling him.
Mohit(smiling): Mat kar na.....mat....arrey kaun hain?
Mohit sat up only to find Kavya standing there.
Mohit: Kya hain? Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho? Aur...(looking around)(frowning)....tum mujhe gudgudi kar rahi thi?
Kavya: Tickle? Main?
Mohit: Gudgudi ko english mein bolne se uska meaning change nahi ho jaata. Batao...subah subah mujhe apna darshan kyun diya tumne?
Kavya: Arrey Rajveer aur Divya kal raat ko gaye the.....toh tum poocho na please use phone karke ki vo kaha pohoche aur kab tak waapis aayenge.
Mohit: Arrey haan....unn dono ke baare mein toh main bhool hi gaya tha. Waise....tum kyun nahi kar sakti phone?
Kavya: Vo meri family ka family plan tha recharge ka....aur sabka saath mein recharge khatam ho gaya...isiliye.
Mohit: Oo....mera phone do na charging se please.....
Kavya: Tum khud nahi le sakte uth ke?
Mohit: Kyun? Tumhare paeron mein dard hain?
Kavya(sighing): Uff! Kuch nahi ho sakta tumhara.
Kavya handed over Mohit's phone to him.
Mohit called up Rajveer.

Mohit(on call): Hello Rajveer.....

"Nahi...main Divya hoon....jo bolna hain bolo."
Mohit(on call): Rajveer kaha hain? Tum use phone do.
Divya(on call): Kyun? Vo nahane gaya hain.
Mohit(on call): Oo...matlab tum dono kisi hotel mein pohoch gaye ho.
Divya(on call): Nahi nahi....yeh koi ghar hain kisi ka....2 din mein laut aayenge hum.
Mohit(on call): Chalo theek hain....waise ho kaha tum dono?
Divya(on call): Hum dono Karnal mein hain.
Mohit(on call): Oo..okayy......(making a sad face)...chalo bye.
Mohit cuts the call.

Kavya: Kya hua? Tum itne upset kyun lag rahe ho?
Mohit: Vo dono....(sad).....vo dono bechare.....
Kavya: Bolo na....
Mohit: Vo.....vo dono....
Kavya: Bolo na....kyun itna suspense bana rahe ho?
Mohit: Kavya vo dono.....(with a smile)....sahi salamat pohoch gaye hain aur do din mein laut rahe hain.
Kavya hit Mohit.
Kavya: Yeh baat bata nahi sakte the pehle?
Mohit(laughing): Agar bata deta toh tumhara yeh gusse waala chehra kaha dikhta? Bohot maza aata hain tumhe aise dekh kar.
Mohit laughed out loud.
Kavya: Accha jii? Abhi batati hoon main tumhe.....
Kavya tried to hit Mohit but due to slippery floor she fell down on Mohit. They both were lost in each other's eyes.

However, before their eyelock could be a prolonged one...someone rang the door bell.
