19 years later

After the war everyone was questioned. There were very few death eaters who were spared from life in Azkaban. Thankfully the Malfoys and I were spared because of our deflection at the end of the war. Things went back to normal, for the most part.

Draco's hand on my back comforts me slightly as we walk our children to platform 9 3/4, our second daughter on Draco's hip. We rush through the wall and the Hogwarts train awaits us.

Memories flood in my mind, good and bad from the train. Draco notices and presses his lips to my temple comfortingly. I slightly bend down to our son and cradle his cheek, a nervous expression on his face.

"Don't worry, you will do wonderfully." I say before turning to his twin. "And you, be nice to your brother."

Scorpius and Ara roll their eyes and I smile before wrapping my arms around their shoulders and giving them rough kisses atop their heads.

"I'll miss you both so much." I say, trying not to cry. "Write to us every chance you get."

I lift my head to see Harry Potter and Ginny Potter standing with their children. Ron and Hermione Weasley stand beside them. Over the years Hermione and I have become great friends. I take my children's hands and only let them go once I've reached them. I wrap my arm around Hermione, greeting and Ginny as well.

"Have you gone soft Malfoy?" Harry references the tears in my eyes.

I roll my eyes and the train whistle blows. I envelop my children once more.

"Alright mum, we have to go." Scorpius says with a smile.

I press a few more kisses to their platinum hair and they rush towards the train along with the Potter and Weasly children. Draco wraps his arm around my waist as we wave them goodbye. I reach around Draco and take Juno's small hand and help her wave goodbye to her siblings. I watch as they clamor to hang out the window and wave at us excitedly. I blow them kisses as my heart aches with a bittersweet feeling.

"Let's just hope they don't get into as much trouble as we did." Draco mutters to me and I laugh.

"Oh, they will." I smile. "They have your genes."

We laugh and I lay my head on his shoulder as we wave goodbye to our children. He remains my main source of comfort throughout these past 19 years. I look up at him and the bad memories fade away as I stare into his eyes. He cups my cheek and presses his lips against mine softly. He strokes my cheek with a soft smile. Since my father passed my life has been peaceful and more joyous than I could have wished for.
