You hear the sound of the locker room door opening and turning to see Jey entering, his face flush with excitement and pride. He catches sight of you and grins, slinging an arm around your shoulders.
you jump in his arms with a smile "I'm so proud of you!!" you said with a smile on your face
His feet leave the ground as he laughs, hoisting you up into a tight bear hug. "Thank you, thank you!Damn, that felt good! It's been too long since I had a title around my waist." he said as you guys hugged

He takes a deep breath, his grin fading slightly as he looks at you with earnest intensity. "It means I'm one step closer to my dream. One step closer to standing on top of the mountain, holding that championship belt high for all to see" he said with this smile on his face

He smiles back, the weight of the years gone by falling away as he wraps you in a tight embrace. It's okay... "I should have found a way to tell you too. But now that we're here... we're really here"
