you always knew. he always knew. his family always knew. your family always knew. your best friends always knew. his homeboys always knew. his brothers always knew.

ever since you both were kids. you guys had fallen in love with eachother. and when that happens. there's nothing that you can say or do to change that

but when it was you and jey. you were okay with that. because it was him. and aslong as it was him. the idea of love sounded okay to you.

if it was sharing his strawberries with you when you guys would eat together while your parents talked.

or if it was his brothers helping you when you were scared or got hurt

or if it was the fact that when you stopped smoking, he almost kissed you that same night.

but what was so hard about that is the fact that it went untalked about for so long.

and you hated that it did. you really did.

you wanted that kiss more then anything in this world. and when you didn't get it, it was like almost in a sense like you had lost hope in you two ever happening.

the day that your whole family decided to take a walk together and you and his mom stayed back

when his mom had told you herself that if it wasn't you being the girl that jey was gonna marry that she wasn't sure if she would let jey get married

one day you and ur mom were talking and she brought the way that jey looked at you

and you couldn't help but smile to yourself.

she described it to you as she's never seen someone look at you with so much love in there eyes the way that jey looked at you.

every time the level of eye contact that you and jey had was brought up and you couldn't lie it brought the biggest smile to your face

"and that my friends is how I met the love of my life"  you said with a smile on your face as you looked over at jey while sitting down in the brides chair
